My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We ate on the back patio, which is very pretty. Tony is a great cook and an artist at making the food visually appealing as well as tasting delicious. Three of us shared a beef and a chicken shawarma dinner, plus falafels and pita covered with za’atar. Everything was freshly prepared and excellent quality. The portions are very generous and we couldn’t finish a couple of the falafels. They were delicious for my breakfast the next day. We were very well fed and also enjoyed visiting with Tony when he came to bring out food and check on us. My daughter commented it felt like we had just had dinner at a friend’s house. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this halal fast food spot, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food is fresh, flavorful, and served quickly — exactly what you want from a fast food place, but with a much higher standard of quality. I will be making the drive back to Kearney just for this place again. Tony is an angel and was such a delight to talk to, he is so generous with his samples, and clearly made (extremely fresh) with love. The chicken shawarma was great, the kebob sandwich was even better, and the beef shawarma was to DIE FOR. He had freshly made Dubai chocolate bites that I’ve been unable to stop thinking about for days after. The garlic sauce was incredible too.
