The Toasted Goat — Restaurant in Kearney

I don’t normally leave reviews but after stopping here on our cross country drive last week, my fiancé insisted we stop her again on our way back last night. He took one bite of The Madhouse and said, “these people know sandwiches!”

The bread is outstanding and perfectly toasted, the fillings are just the right amount and next level (heck yes pickled onions and roasted tomatoes!), the sandwiches are well dressed, and each time we have online ordered the sandwiches were ready promptly for our arrival.

Do yourself a favor and get your road trip sandwiches here, better than anything you will get from the chain restaurants in...

Great little spot! Was pleasantly surprised by their sandwiches. I had The Oath, and the other members of my group had In Da Club and the Pork Tornado - we were just about licking our plates clean! If you’re looking for live music, they also have a great stage for bands to play. My only complaint is that it’s a little hard to find if you’re not from around Kearny. The staff is very friendly and accommodated my request for pulled pork on the kids sandwich, which isn't on the menu. The food was excellent! We were traveling through on 80 and wanted sandwiches. We had to stop here because of the high rating, and it is well deserved. My only complaints are the high price, I know everything is more expensive now, and the distance from the interstate.
