I recently visited this restaurant and had a disappointing experience. The atmosphere was nice, but the service was subpar. Our server, the lady with the back tattoo of a woman, greeted us and told us to sit by the window. When I pointed to an empty table nearby, she said "no" and then rudely said "you know what, sit wherever you want."

Then, We waited 50 minutes for our food, while the people who came after us were served and left within that time frame. They were white and we were not so.

We ordered breakfast of scrambled eggs and home fries and the pancakes- but it took an inordinate amount of time to arrive. When it finally did, the food was cold, with burnt and inedible toast and undercooked eggs that didn't smell great. The bacon was also cold and overcooked. The pancakes were a joke. Nothing like they advertise.

To make matters worse, our server seemed more interested in chatting with another customer at the bar about her sex life than attending to our needs. She was very explicit in her discussions and even went so far as to kiss another waitress on the bottom. Another server came to check on us around minute 40, apologizing for the wait and explaining that the chef was new and still learning the dishes. However, we saw the chef, a white male, frequently leaving the kitchen to hug our server with the back tattoo.

Overall, I was unhappy with my experience at this restaurant. The service was poor, the food was subpar, and the atmosphere was marred by our server's unprofessional behavior. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this restaurant again. My partner and I were also a bit sick in the evening. Not sure if it was from the food or the bad vibes of not feeling wanted...
