Not family friendly, SLOW service, chaotic

We wanted to like this place. We love visiting local breweries on our travels and supporting local business.

When we arrived, it was very chaotic. We were told we could have the only indoor table left. Then as we were waiting for it to be bussed, another family took it, which was confusing. Eventually we ended up outside (another table eventually opened up indoors but we opted not to take it since we were already settled outdoors).

There is no kids menu. This is our fault for assuming since we had found an old menu on a third-party site that included a kid’s menu. We had also found their current menu on their site, but thought maybe they had left the kids menu off for some reason. So anyways, okay, that’s fine that they don’t have one anymore, but just mentioning this for any other families who might be considering eating here.

So because we were outside we had to go inside to order our food and drinks. We were told our drinks (just 2 draft beers) would be brought out in a few minutes. After 10 min my husband went inside to check on the drink status. He was inside for another 10-15 min waiting for our drinks. In the meantime, our food came and they had messed up the side dish on one of our orders, but husband was still inside waiting for TWO DRAFT BEERS so I didn’t even mention it because everything was already not going well and didn’t want to deal with waiting more.

Eventually we got our drinks (husband says the people who came in after us seated inside got their drinks way before us. Again, no exaggeration, we waited 20+ min for 2 draft beers). Food was good, not great. Patties were very thin on the burgers, like the frozen kind you buy in large quantities. But fixings were good. Beer was good. Pretty decent menu selection.

Because we were seated outside we were at wooden picnic tables. At the end of the night one of our kids literally had 10 tiny splinters from the bench.

Also there is artwork/photos of topless/semi-nude women in the men’s bathroom. I mean personally doesn’t bother me (yes, i was in the men’s restroom with my 4 year old who had to pee). But just adding another reason why we are saying this place is not family friendly.

Overall, it was a really bad experience. I understand they must be short-staffed. But it was honestly one of the worst experiences eating out we’ve ever had. 3 stars because the food was good and most of this is likely due to understaffing, which we are trying to be sympathetic to. Also, the staff was friendly and I am sure they are working very hard trying to keep up. But all in all, can’t recommend. This was on a Thursday night, so I can’t imagine what it’s like on...

August 26th Edit for the second time I have gone to this place. Covid is over (at least in the news) and now they have table service. Or at least what appears to be table service. Our table was next to the bar so when I arrived 10 minutes after my friends, the bartender asked what I would like to drink. At first I said water but I remember that a friend told me that they have a nice stout so I ordered that. I was half way through my beer (I was nursing it since I have to drive) before someone notices that our menus were out of our hands on on the table stacked. I almost forgot what I wanted to order since it took that long. Finally when a server came by, she asked what we would like and the order went in. People came, were seated, ordered and then we noticed that they also got their food before we did. 42 minutes later (from the time we ordered our simple dishes) we got our food. I know this for a fact because the Owner? or someone who acted as such pointed it out that it was 42 minutes and not the 45 that we had mentioned; then making a statement that the grill was getting cold spots and not working right (I know flat tops, if one spot is hot, the rest is pretty close to that same temp 'conduction') but as soon as the we said something, the food came out. So, we got our drinks comped. Not what we wanted or expected but still. Food was good, service sucked but my friend made it a point to tell the cook that the food was outstanding.

My recommendation: Order the food to go, don't make changes to the menu that require thought and don't go at night. Friday night, the place was about 2/3 full

First review a year ago: I am not used to going to a restaurant where I have to go order at the bar. Not a bad thing I guess if you like ordering a meal from the bar. I prefer to have dinner started at my table and finished at the same table. Mayo in a packet.

Food was good. People were nice. Maybe invest in...

My wife and I stopped here for lunch and some beers on our way from Wallace ID to Coeur D'Alene ID. I'd love to review the food and beer but we weren't given the chance.

We arrived during some sort of race, they checked our ID at the door. It wasn't crowded inside so we went to the bar. There were 2 bartenders and 2 groups ahead of us. Both bartenders saw us, we checked out menus we were given and were ready to order.

Unfortunately other people came in while we were waiting and once the bartenders finished with their first customers they ignored us, greeted the new people who entered after us (it was clearly their friends) and took their order. Ok, that sucks but we'll wait. Well more and more people came in and the bartenders danced back and forth to serve people they clearly knew, all while ignoring us.

After about 3 rounds of the bartenders serving their friends and not the couple that had been there for quite some time we left.

Unless you know the people who work here I'd avoid visiting. Sadly the staff ignores new people for their buds. We'll stick with the CDA and Wallace breweries from here on, where everyone is...

It's a bit of a,walk from the Silver mountain resort to get here but definitely worth the effort. The service staff was very friendly and helpful and their beer selection exceeded our expectations. We ordered the honey wheat iPa and scotch ale to start...both were surprisingly light yet delicious. Our waitress gave us some sampling of the other beer options before we decided on the imperial stout and midnight coffee. The burgers we ordered, original and gouda 🍄 were delicious too. I only wish they toasted the buns and made the fries a bit more crispy. The fried artichokes hearts were great to wash down with the drinks. We liked their offerings so much we bought several growlers to take back to hotel rooms with us.. Overall a great experience, will definitely come back for second servings

Radio Brewing had such a cool vibe. From records hanging from the ceiling to industrial chic lighting, dark green walls, and miscellaneous musical decorations, this was one of the coolest breweries I’ve been to and has amazing food. I had the Bangers and Mash, and am still dreaming about that meal today. It was such a delicious comfort food! The pretzel bites were a good appetizer, and they had a tasty onion soup. My husband had and enjoyed their Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich. I tried Radio Brewing's “Where’s Me Pants” beer and a sample 6-pack (of various brews, including  “Idaho Sexy”). The beer was so good! This brewery is definitely a gem not to pass up when visiting Wallace, given it’s located 13 minutes away from Wallace.

I absolutely love Radio Brewing. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the Silver Valley. They always have several wonderful brews on tap, and their food is great! I'm very partial to the bratwurst and garlic fries myself, but their have several food items I really enjoy. Their porter is one of my all time favorites, and beer is very reasonable at $4/pint, and even cheaper during happy hour (3-5) at $3/pint. I love how their carry their theme throughout the building, including their menus which look like 78rpm records. I love them for lunch, happy hour, or simply meeting up with friends. Radio Brewing won't disappoint.
