NO SEEWEED SALAD OFFERED VERY LIMITED FOOD OPTIONS EVEN FOR THE DINNER, SEEMS TO BE THE SAME FEW OPTIONS ONLY LIKE FOR LUNCH NOT ENOUGH RICE, DRY LEFT OVERS ON THE BOTTOM WASABI EXTREMELY WEAK ÀND WITHOUT TASTE, SEEMS TO BE STALE AND OLD AND THE PRICES HAVE INCREASED AGAIN Price is good, one of the lowest comparing to other buffet, only $13.99 for lunch buffet. However the drink is $2.50, other places only $1 or included. So together with the drink price is comparable to other places. The service is very poor. No one even offering drink refills. No one picks up your empty plates until you totally finished eating. You barely start eating and they already bringing you the check. No fortune cookie or at least candy with the bill as other Asian buffets do. Not huge choice of food and about 30% of food is not that fresh, especially one with the low rotation like veggie sushi is dry and green wasabi which has no aroma or strength and seems like was at least couple weeks old. Good start but much room for improvement. Just my honest and fair opinion. Nothing can beat Super King Buffet on 82nd Ave in Portland OR. They got at least 4 times of selection for food plus everything is fresh and hot. The lunch price is only $16.99 and dinner $21.9, only $1 for drink with unlimited refills. When you order hot tea they bring you the whole pot of steaming hot tea and they refill it for free. Here they bring you tiny cup of hot tea and not offering...
Read moreThis was my first time going, I wanted to wait for the new opening crowd to pass before trying. The restaurant was hot and it wasn't even hot outside. The sushi was disappointing, I wasn't expecting it to be great but I actually had to spit out a piece, it was all warm which is ok for the cooked eel, the only good one. The octopus was over cooked but good flavor, the fried calamari rings were good. The cream sauce fried shrimp was good, maybe a little sweet and too much batter. Beef ribs great, bbq pork ok. Mussels needed to be rinsed before cooking and tasted like they put mustard with the cheese? Some stuff was definitely bland but I'm not surprised as they are trying to please alot of people and kids. I couldn't even taste the seasoning on the greenbeans which I usually love. I guess they don't have the sesame balls for dinner which I was looking forward to. The little orange cakes are pretty good but I'm not sure what the flavor was, the fried donuts were good. Over all I'm not sure we will be back, money doesn't come easy now days and we don't get to eat out very often, if I'm going to spend $50 for a dinner I want to enjoy it a little more, not be sweating ( I was wearing a dress too) and picking through half my plate. My spouse is already in the bathroom and he thinks it's something...
Read moreThe place is always busy! My wife and I waited weeks to go hoping it would slow down, it just never does. The parking lot was full but there was no wait. Walking in the hostess noticed my wife using her walker and had a table ready for us before we were all the way through the doors. We were shown to our table, asked for our drink orders and let loose. The selection of food was decent. Lots of chicken and seafood, noodles and rice. There's a decent sized sushi bar and a nice little dessert island. The food tasted good, some of it a little bland, but nothing worthy of a complaint. The only thing is wasn't really impressed with was the crawdads, but it was the end of the tray and that's nobody's fault. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. The price was very reasonable, right about 50 bucks for the 2 of us.
I can't express this enough... they made my wife feel so welcome and accommodated with her walker. They took a chair away from the table so there was plenty of room for the walker and we were greeted with smiles. I really appreciate the service we were provided, you guys made my wife's night by treating her so well. Thank you so very much. We will most certainly be back! I hope Longview/Kelso treats this place well and the restaurant has years of success in...
