Dan's Pizza Wings 'N' Beer Deck — Restaurant in Kemah

I have been holding on to my review for months, but I have certainly not forgotten. I think about the food here daily and if I lived remotely close I would visit all the time. What we ordered was not for the weak. I did order a salad because -balance. The salad was great, very substantial and a meal on its own. We ordered a crawfish pizza. Never had crawfish pizza, never even thought about it. Genius, just genius. All the accompanying toppings perfectly came together. Nothing was missing this is perfection on a pizza. It is a greasy one because of the generous amount of cheese. My biggest mistake was not taking another to go. Hesitantly we ordered the inferno wings. Not because we thought it was going to be too hot, but because we were afraid it was going to be all hype and we were going to be left wanting more heat. We were wrong. So wrong. I will repeat these are not for the weak. These wings were every bit of what they said they were going to be. They were not playing any games. I only wish they came in like a one or two piece option. Only because I'm sure eating an entire order would send someone into a pancreatic attack (been there). Inferno lives up to their name and highly recommend them. Prepare yourself though. If you order them have all your drinks lined up. More than one. Have plenty of paper towels. If you're wearing masacra make sure its waterproof. Have other food options readily available and DO NOT touch these with your fingers. We ordered Daves for delivery last night. I am a fan of all pizza, so I was not stressed when my pizza arrived wrong. My family has been ordering from Daves since they moved here years ago, and this is the first time this has happened. We ordered a heart healthy pizza for my father - which he loved, and we also ordered a large thin crust pizza - half pepperoni and half pepperoni and sausage. The pepperoni and sausage side instead came with the ultimate works. This was my portion of the meal, but MAN, I was not disappointed in the mishap. IT WAS DELICIOUS! The topping were piled on, but the crust still stayed incredibly crispy. We did contact the store to let them know what happened in case we accidentally got someone else's pizza and they offered to either deliver a free pizza or mark our account to make it up to us next time. Fantastic customer service - the delivery man was also very friendly and talkative. I will return! PS: the leftovers were just as delicious as the original pizza

Update: We tried Dan's again a couple weeks later. Different pizzas completely from the first order, and all were still excellent and delicious the following days. We picked up the pizza this time, and the patio is big and spacious and is very close to the Kemah Boardwalk. Lots of beer on tap. I highly suggest going. The food was a solid 5 stars but the staff members were so lazy. I mean like my food was ready but the server & woman in the kitchen both told me they couldn't locate my order & each proceeded to follow their statements up by immediately going back to what they were doing in their phones & just stood there until my silence & stare made them uncomfortable enough to walk away. They didn't ask anyone else or even pretend to look for it. I was appalled to say the least. My food was on a shelf & bagged up which I found & pointed out myself. I will never eat in the place again however I will absolutely order from them using Door Dash because the food was that good. Imagine if I had actually tasted it in a timely manner & served to me rather than having to reheat it when I was home. Oh yeah , my order for me to enjoy at the bar had been wrapped for to go & then placed nowhere near where the other to go orders were. Nobody wrote my order down & it was verbally given so maybe a little sketchy pocket money was the goal Idk but yeah go for the food but maybe don't expect the best service in the evening around 9pm...
