The Clipper House Inn — Hotel in Kemah

I rented this cottage for the weekend as a surprise for my boyfriend for his birthday. I first spoke with Matthew to get information on pricing and to get photos of this cottage. He was very nice and accommodating and helpful. I then spoke with his wife who helped me to finish the booking and answer any questions I had. She asked if we were celebrating any occasion and I told her yes we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. She asked what he likes to drink/eat and what I like as well. I told her he loves red wine and chocolate. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the red wine and breakfast treats AND sweet hand-written note she had left us on the front table. They also gave us some great tips on restaurants and bars in Kemah. The cottage itself was so cute and vintage, very clean and we loved it. My boyfriend absolutely loved the cottage and was very happy with it. We loved the little area with shops that the cottage sits near, and really loved that it’s in walking distance from the boardwalk. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! I highly recommend The Clipper Inn, and we will definitely be back! ☺️ Thank you Jen...

There's so many GREAT things to say about such a small BEAUTIFUL place. I just don't know know where to start! 😊||Should I begin from the time that I opened the small white picket fence and walked over the small bridge surrounded by lush manicured gardens and grape vines? -Or from the beautifully decorated vintage cottage that made you feel as though you're staying in THEEE CUTEST DOLL HOUSE you've ever seen? Well, I can go on and on; however as our time went on there, it only got better!! -Especially when we got a chance to meet Miss Barbara Hopper; one of the family owners that's responsible for running the Clipper House Inn. Miss Barbara is JUST A BREATH OF FRESH AIR, and just an ALL AROUND ANGEL! 😇||She's one of the best people you'd ever want to meet. She made us feel at HOME right away; and greeted us with love and hugs and though we were already family!||The restaurant and wine there is award winning; and the customer service is stellar!!||If you're seeking a great getaway in a setting as such as this..... THIS IS THE WAY TO GO!||-Tell her Yolanda and Leroy Johnson...
