My family and I just visited for the first time this restaurant today and we left very satisfied. We've been once to the other restaurant located at the Westland Mall. . First of all, the customer service was exceptional, thanks to Arianna, our waitress. She's very nice, attentive, professional, and charismatic. Her foods recommendations were on point. And we liked very much her honesty regarding the gratuity system. They include and extra 18% charge on the bill as a tip that is distributed betweenall the employees, plus you can tip extra based on your experience or not. Nothing that some others restaurants are not doing already. However, we've been to other places where the waitress doesn't say anything and the service hasn't been a great deal, and we end up giving 40% tip (20% included + the 20% we usually give) just because we didn't know about it. Second, the food. We loved everything that we ordered. We're 5, and everyone asked for something different. For appetizers, the croquetas were exquisite, and the stuffed tostones super nice. As main course, I liked the brazino over the salmon. Both were super soft, and flavory. The churrasco was like a foot long, and you don't even need to use knife to cut it. The mashed potato was cremy and didn't even tasted like the regulars mashed potato, it has a different touch. For dessert, do not leave without trying the natilla (Arianna's recommendation) even if you are full from the food, at least one spoon. Third, I don't know if it was a coincidence and Robertico (the owner) didn't have anything to do today or he does it on a daily basis. The thing is that he was there and went table by table asking the customers how everything was and if we had any recommendation. That says a lot from the customer service perspective. That means he cares about his business and the customer satisfaction. And even if you give him a recommendation and he doesn't do anything, at least he gave the opportunity to the customer of expressing themselves. People like to give opinions. Last, I would like to clarify that I'm not an influencer, and didn't do any collaboration, I didn't receive any discount for this review, and I'm not any family or friend. I'm just a random person who is giving my opinion base on my personal experience. I would recommend this place because compared with others restaurants under the same category (family friendly and prices) for me and my family...

We got there at around 9:30pm and they put us in the wrong table and then had to move us out. It took anyone 30 minutes to even go to the table and bring us water or anything, 30 MINUTES! We had not seen anyone from the restaurant other than the lady that sat us down. After those 30 minutes someone came and took our order, appetizers, drinks and the main plates. After around 10-15 minutes they brought the drinks thats 45 minutes after we sat down that we had actually something that was not water. The food and the appetizers got there AT THE SAME TIME at around 10:40 and we were there since 9:30. This is completely unacceptable from a restaurant that let me tell you is not that cheap. The food wasn’t bad but it was definitely not great either. It was straight out of Aldis I’m not even kidding (the truffle fries were good though). They did not have the dessert we wanted so we had to go with something else. Overall please avoid this restaurant, it 100% not worth it and only has good reviews from friends and friends of friends. Maybe give it time and it will get better? Anyways 1/5 stars. (Servers...

During a recent layover in Miami (arrived at 11 AM, next flight at 9 PM), I had the perfect opportunity to reunite with great friends and enjoy some authentic Cuban cuisine—something that’s hard to find in Toronto!
I chose El Patio de Robertico, not just for its stellar reputation but also because it’s managed by Erik Entenza Medina, one of the best restaurant managers I’ve ever met. Plus, I’ve been following the restaurant on social media and admire Robertico’s success in the industry.
Here’s what made my visit exceptional:
✅ Amazing Cuban flavours I enjoyed a classic mojito, tamal en cazuela, and a delicious sopa de maíz (guiso) ✅ Outstanding service** – Claudia, our server, was fantastic ✅ Beautiful decor & great atmosphere ✅ Bonus:I got to watch a Champions League match while having lunch!
If you're looking for a true Cuban dining experience with excellent service, I highly recommend El Patio de Robertico. And if you’re on a layover in Miami, the restaurant is just 14 km from the airport enough time to get there, enjoy a great meal, and make it back!
