So me and a friend went there late around 10pm to get some food because he recommended it. When we got inside the lady in the front wasn't occupied and me and my friend took our time to decide on what to eat. While standing there she urged us to hurry up. Strike 1. So when we decided on what to eat, I began my order, mid way through a call came in and she took their order first before completing ours. Strike 2. She hung up the phone and came back to us, I repeated my order and it was my friends turn. He had asked if there was shrimp in the fried rice, she misunderstood and thought that he had asked if there was pork in the fried rice. I can understand that she genuinely misunderstood him but she acted out of line when she raised her voice, acted rude, and talked back to us. Keep in mind my friend is socially awkward and didn't know how to respond, so I got pissed and asked her in a raised tone, is there shrimp in the rice. Strike 3. She continued to say that we would have to pay an extra $3 to cook the rice without PORK, even after I asked if there was shrimp not pork. So my friend got nervous and told me to drop it that he would eat the rice with shrimp. We completed out orders and went to sit down. A while later when the food came out I asked if I could buy a bottled water and she said that the water wasn't for sale... Who the hell puts drinks that are clearly shown for the customers that aren't for sale. Strike 4.
If you are DESPERATE for Chinese food the place is alright, though the egg drop soup has no flavor whatsoever ,the Mongolian beef is nothing special for any Chinese takeout restaurant and they did pretty good. The front desk lady is awful if you really want Chinese food go somewhere else. This place is not out of this world or worth any time having to put up...
Read moreAfter reading all the reviews about this place, my wife and I were intrigued and curious to see if all the comments about nasty treatment by the woman who takes orders is true. We called our order in on speaker phone. We were ready with our numbers and it was uneventful. When we arrived to pick up our order she gave us kind of a smirk and I began to speak, she interrupted, "phone number?" We gave her the phone number. The food was ready. She took my credit card and while she was processing it, she uttered a few words to the cook in Chinese and chuckled. I signed the receipt and that was that. She even said thank you. We got the food home and it was all there. My wife had ordered the cashew chicken dinner and I ordered the mongolian beef dinner. The dinners come with fried rice, an egg roll, your choice of soup and, of course, a fortune cookie. The food was above average, the portion was reasonable (not to big, not too small) and the prices were very good (the two dinners came in under $20 for both). So we give four stars. We were a little disappointed that we didn't get to see this infamous woman in...
Read moreI give this place 5 stars in food taste of my favorite items, but the customer service of the lady at the front is atrocious. For this reason alone I give this place a one star rating. She is always very quick to cut you off, very rude, and snappy for no apparent reason. The straw that broke the camels back was when I ordered the Lo Mein for my 9 year old daughter just the way I always have. Noodles and some sauce, no meat, no veggies. When we got home with our order the Lo Mein hardly had noodles and was loaded with soggy vegetables. I called to inform them of the mistake and I would go back and pick up the right order. She had the nerve to tell me to pick the veggies out. You have got to be joking! I am sick and tired of her poor service and bad manners. I feel sorry for her husband which I think is the owner and one of the awesome...
