Sorry but this was quite possibly the worst breakfast I've ever eaten in my life. Came here last weekend with my girlfriend and her daughter. We ordered 3 large coffees to start, we ordered them with sugar but they weren't sweet enough so we asked for more sugar and they give us one little cup for all of us--it was annoying to have to keep asking for sugar instead of just having it readily available on the table. This was a minor issue compared to the scrambled eggs with a side of sausage I had. The eggs were runny, the side of "sausage" was not sausage links, but a lumpy (and cold) sausage patty that looked more like a burger. My girlfriend ordered pancakes which came back as a waffle-looking and tasteless pancake. Again you have to keep asking for syrup since they don't give you a little karafe of it when they bring the pancakes to you and also no butter or side of butter with the pancakes. Also I'm not a fan of sourdough bread which is what they use for the toast (no alternate options were given). When I went up to pay, we told the cashier that we weren't satisfied with our meal and we were not offered any compensation whatsoever, just an, "oh, sorry." I paid $45 and wound up making us breakfast when I got...
Read moreReally good food. Even the soda is a better quality. They have Boylans in the machine, not bottles. So good. Turkey was real turkey. Fries were perfect. Nice staff. Prices have increased, but it's ok. The only negatives are, they charge to use a credit card (and they don't have a sign up notifying you as they are required to do, and they don't tell you either.) You have to go up to order and they ask for a tip, so everyone I know, including me, takes the credit card fee out of the tip. So, they are hurting their employees by charging to use a credit card. This is the only restaurant that I go to that charges this fee. I will not go anywhere that charges. The music was not enjoyable to me, but not everyone likes the same music. Good food worth a try. They close at 3 pm. Hopefully they will...
Read moreStumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the staff was attentive and made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we walked in. We took down a Taylor ham egg and chz and a bacon egg and chz - both were prepared beautifully. On our way out my car battery died due to the cold weather. We came back inside and asked the staff if anyone had jumper cables. The owner quickly ran outside to help. He gave us a jump and insisted we hold on to the jumper cables in case we broke down after leaving- it was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. As I work nights i haven’t been able to make it back there to return them. My apologies, ordering a set now on Amazon, keep a look out for them. Thanks again for the great food and...
