Absolutely perfect. It’s was an open, cozy, COVID safe atmosphere, that had delicious FRESH menu options.

TL;DR - 10/10, go check them out.

My mother and I were visiting from Vermont and had been looking for somewhere to enjoy a late breakfast. We pulled up the GPS and put in “breakfast open near me” and BOOM. Squaretoe’s popped up! We drove over, waited a few minutes for our table to be ready, and were guided to a corner table safely spaced from the next tables. Everyone had masks on, sanitizer was posted around, and the service was great!

I ordered coconut banana French toast with bacon and my mother ordered the corned beef hash with home fries. I rarely order either dish (picky with these two in particular) and the corned beef was the best I’ve ever had. It was shredded and slightly charred for those crusty bits. Ugh, take me back!! My French toast was fluffy, and perfectly cooked! The coconut was subtle but nutty, with the maple syrup and bananas.... delicious! Then I find out it’s a small family run spot and our server was one of the daughters! I LOVE seeing small businesses absolutely killing it! Well done to this family. Truly a family style, family run GREAT breakfast eatery! Diner style- lots of locals come there with regularity I found out. (They also do lunch however we did not go there for lunch !) OMG!!!! Get the Blueberry Pancakes!!!! SO YUMMY!!!! and LOADED with FRESH Maine BLUEBERRIES!

To Chef Paula and Lauren, a thank you! for ensuring that I was able to eat their amazing blueberry pancakes! I have a severe Lobster Allergy - they made them for me first thing in the morning before any other food hit their very clean grill and saved them for us for when we came in for breakfast the next day- yes, we went there twice! Sometimes it's best to stick with a good thing when traveling !! Fresh eggs, steamed spinach, not salty bacon or sausage! Freshly made red skin home fries!!! My family and I have been to this place twice in the last few years. The first time we had the worst service I've ever encountered in all my years dining out. The waitress seemed annoyed that we were a large group, even though there was plenty of space to accommodate us. She continued to be very rude to us for the remainder of our meal. The food took a long time to be served and was only okay. The second time we went, which was today, we walked in as a group of 5 and was met with the same kind of hostility. The two waitresses gave us a hard time because they didn't want to push two tables together, even though there was plenty of space, and told us the wait would be 40 mins for there to be enough space. If they had been polite it wouldn't have been so bad, but they were very rude about it and we immediately took our business elsewhere. If you have a group, I would avoid this place at all costs as they are not accommodating to anyone not in a group of 2 or 4, unless you want to endure incredibly rude, and embarrassingly awful service, seemingly...
