Kennebunk House of Pizza — Restaurant in Kennebunk

My family and I have gone here for years and it's always been good. . Our last two trips however have made it a place of no return. .two weeks ago we ordered and for some reason my daughters cheese pizza was cold...like it had just come out of the fridge cold. Weird...right? This has never happened before. So we called and was told "it makes no sense" and obviously thought it wasn't true so said "just come back bring the pizza and we will make you a hot fresh one." I had just got home and the traffic is always ridiculous and didn't want to drive back down...so I asked for a refund and was told...no you have the pizza so no refund..." When you pay almost hundred bucks on food for your family.you want it done right but instead I get argued with like shame on me for bothering them... Tonight we decided to get food from them again and called in an order and went to pick it up. Eighty bucks later..get home get settled in and then open your sandwich and its got piles of "hots" like hot pepper relish and the other sandwich was supposed to be heated and wasn't so again...we called and talked to someone with no personalality about the order being wrong...again...only this time we decided to bring the sandwiches back and have them re made. .which was incredibly annoying and waste of a lot of time..just frustrated when you the customer is" made to feel "less then" and now have absolutely no desire to go back..and...

After driving 5 hours on the road - we just wanted something quick- never been to maine or here before-not only do you have random people leaving their food and pizza on a counter and coming in and out to eat it- you're waiting forever- a gentlemen was waiting for his pizza before I was there and while I was there which was about 20 min and his pizza was on the rack the whole time- THEN I finally get my 2 small pizzas in a rush to leave that atmosphere- I get back to my hotel and I was given the wrong order- I ordered a small pizza with extra sauce and cheese and a small gluten free pizza with extra sauce and pepperoni ( i am gluten intolerant ) - chicken wings- and fries - what I recieved was 2 small cheese pizzas and what looked like fried chicken......after all of that! It wasn't even worth bringing it back because of the drive and we're on vacation. Would never recommend or go back. How could it be so bad?????? Then I asked what the desert was on the counter and the girl didn't even know........almost $60...

I had called to make a take out order.. arrived at KHOP, pick up order was on time and there was no wait. I have nothing bad to say about the pizza, it was delicious. We had the incorrect sub sandwich order… I had ordered a tuna sub. No cheese, add lettuce and mayo. I had called and spoke to the girl who initially took my take out order and she stated that I either didn’t say that or she didn’t hear me. She put me on hold and spoke to the manager. Got back on the phone and told me to bring it back for a refund. I then asked if she can just refund my card… and her manager (Nancy?) was clearly distraught by this request. I was then again put on hold. Then followed by some attitude saying I can bring it back tomorrow to speak to the other manager that can deal with the situation. Which was followed up by me being hung up on. So… I have to hang onto this incorrect order that I had placed for a day just to get a refund? Customer service was very poor. Short tempered and full...
