We were really impressed with this cute little town museum. It has plenty interesting artifacts and artworks, as well as a ton of info on the history of the town and Maine in general. The minke whale skeleton is really cool. There is some interactivity, snd plenty of hands on activities for kids. The Lego exhibition is small but really good. And the $5 adult entrance fee is an absolute steal. Highly recommended.

Go see the current great exhibition, Jane Morgan, In My Style Fabulous vintage performance gowns ,photos and more extremely well curated. Started 2/1/22 through the 3rd week of May.

Very friendly staff. Neat history here...but the bulk of the displays are art rather than historic pieces. Still, it is worth a visit and the docents are friendly.

The Brick Store Museum in Kennebunk is a hidden gem that blends history, imagination, and hands-on creativity. We were blown away by the LEGO art exhibit—ingenious designs that sparked curiosity and joy for all ages. The undersea theme was especially captivating, with vibrant displays that felt both educational and magical. It’s rare to find a museum that balances local heritage with such playful innovation. The staff was friendly, the space was welcoming, and the exhibits were...

Nicely kept, interactive by asking visitors to record their memories of history, free parking, free entrance w/ our NARM museum passes. Very small. Less than 1 hour to tour. Under construction, so may have contributed to lack of exhibits? Victory garden taught my kids a pinch about Americans & the war at home. Def worth a very quick stop if you have a free pass, otherwise I would...
