Angelia's Italian Grille — Restaurant in Kennedy Township

I ordered Detroit style with Prosciutto, cherry tomatoes and hot honey. I was especially excited to try this since I put hot honey on everything. This pizza was below mediocre. There was NOT ANY trace of hot honey on the pizza at all. The sauce was too high of a tom paste consistency and tasted like canned tomato paste without any flavor or seasoning. (Tip: you should check the degree brix on your sauce for quality consistency). They were all out of every 412 beer! How is that even possible? And when we arrived (~9:15 on a Saturday night, not extra-ordinarily late), we were greeted by a waitress telling us that not just the kitchen but the bar itself would be closing at 11! When i enquired whether this wss a new policy, (seeing as how i distinctly REMEMBER being there later than 11 on a number of occasions in the past) i wss told that 'No, it's when we always close.' The old location was SO much better and it makes me sad to see what they did with their current location compared to the original tenant there. We expected them to have done some work, since it took them a while and they did, but the work they did made the small restaurant even smaller and removed the bar.

Angelia's is super tiny now and they no longer have a full bar. The menu and food are about the same, the wait staff is still super friendly, but we won't be going there as often as we did before the pandemic/before they changed locations. Not impressed with the setup or the vastly reduced...
