I went here at about 5 pm on Palm Sunday. Only one car ahead of me in the drive thru. I gave my order and proceeded to the first window to pay. The "child" who (probably thinks $15 bucks an hour is not enough) took my money never even looked at me. He literally stuck his hand out and I had to try to get the cash into it like a game of whack a mole. Because he couldn't be bothered to look at me. He gives me the change the same way. I'm trying to catch his hand to get my money. So that ridiculous ritual finished, I drive around the corner and there is a car that was pulled up waiting for their food and the car that was in front of me. Now, I can see that the first guy waiting has not ordered food for a baseball team. When they finally bring out his order it's just a medium sized bag. So he waited at least 5 minutes for this little bit of food. The next guy is still waiting for his order. And we wait. So it takes about 3 minutes for his food. Finally my turn. So, I didn't ask for anything special. Just burgers and fries. No special instructions, just however they make it. I see that the guy in front of me also did not get food for 20 people. So it's taken about 10 minutes for 2 normal sized orders to be ready. Finally my turn. I'm thinking, I didn't special order anything so they should have had time to catch up. Right? Wrong. I waited 2 more minutes to get 3 burgers and one medium fry. Ok. I could understand if the drive thru had 20 cars in it. First of all, it's dinner time. They should be ready for a rush, but I don't call 3 cars a dinner rush. Secondly, they had all that time while the other 2 guys were waiting to get my food cooked. I mean they had enough time to actually kill the cow and make the burger patties! So, you're thinking there must be a bunch of people inside, right? Oh, no, my friend. There is seriously NO ONE inside. Not sure what is happening at this McDonalds. It's like this every time I go there. This is absolutely the slowest place I get food. So, from the cashier/order taker who doesn't care enough to even look at me, or bother to say thank you to the slowest cook in the world, I am completely and totally UNDERWHELMED. If I had another place to go, I would go somewhere else. Because you won't hear this at this McDonalds, THANKS for taking the time to read this and HAVE A...
Read moreWhen I was placing my order on the app, I noticed that nuggets were not available to order. I decided to get a mcChicken instead. When I got to the speaker to give my code, the employee said “oh, we don’t have any going rain drinks right now, our fountain machine is not working” I was confused how they can make the nuggets out of sto k on the app why they wouldn’t make drinks out of stock too so I knew before ordering and paying. Since I had paid on the app I asked, “Okay. What can I get instead? Do you have sweet tea?” He said they did not have sweet tea either. I asked if I could get 2 juice boxes instead of the extra small orange Fanta that I ordered with the happy meals and he said, he could not substitute the juice boxes for the fountain drinks. That’s it, simply said he couldn’t make the sub and offered no other solution. So I said, “uhhh okay. Well I paid already so what are you going to give me in place of the drinks that I wanted? He said that he would tell the employees working at the window to sub the juice boxes and I could get a milkshake instead of the Diet Coke with my mccrispy meal. So I got to the pickup window and the employee there opened the window and rudely shouted, “WE DONT HAVE FOUNTAIN DRINKS!” Like, yeah ok u already know that but damn why are you acting like that when I haven’t said a word to you yet? I didn’t say that of course because I am polite to service workers even if they are rude to me. I informed her if the substitutions that the previous employee told me could be made. When the rude employee then shouted to the employee who was going to get my milkshake, “give her a small cause a milkshake is an up charge” I know a milkshake is an upcharge I wanted a Coke I was willing to settle for a milkshake. Just seems like none of those employees have ever heard of customer service. Honestly worst experience I’ve ever had at this location. It didn’t seem like there were any managers or shift leads on site either because nobody knew what to do. I completely understand thinks being out of stock. But the employees should be pro active, greeting patrons at the speaker, informing them of the shortage, apologizing, and...
Read moreSo I live in the area and there are very few options for something to eat “on the go”. With that said, the numerous times I have been to this location I have never had a great experience or even a good experience. Constant issues with staff being rude, inconsiderate or not caring about anything. This last time I came to this location goes as follows.....I pull up to the drive thru window as a girl sat there with her back to me cleaning a coffee/tea urn, reluctantly opened the window and said as she stared in the direction opposite me “what can i get you?” I figure little strange but i’ll give her a few seconds to finish what she’s doing.
Nope, probably 3 minutes later I had repeated my order to her three times and she still hadn’t punched it in on the screen all while still fiddling with the cleaning she was doing. I’m all about cleaning and extra projects but this pushed my buttons. I then pulled out of the drive thru line, parked and went in.
My experience didnt get remotely better.....the order was placed amongst off the clock staff collecting paychecks or schedules and chatting with each other. The order was finally done....7 minutes later (2 happy meals and a milkshake) i proceeded to stand there while being ignored after I was told “my order was ready”. Except i still hadn’t had my milkshake or the apple juice with the happy meal...its ok though, i can wait (i have the patience of a saint) while the staff chit chats and stare at me.....Got everything and left, can’t say it wasn’t one of the most if not the most frustrating experiences of my life.....please get your act together McDonald’s Kennedy!
A Sincerely...
