Boba Boba Nola — Restaurant in Kenner

I never really write reviews but I felt like after two times I think it needs to be said. So the only reason why I made this a one star is because the place is very cute, but truthfully this is the worst boba I’ve ever tried. First, they take forever to come to service and seem very uninterested while doing so. Second, the drinks themselves are TERRIBLE. The boba is extra chewy but a consistency of a starburst not how boba usually tastes. The drink itself (milk tea and smoothies) have a lack of flavor and that sucks. Staff isn't very helpful either time we've gone. We're unfamiliar with the menu as it's different than where we usually go, and when asking questions, not very clear. Also my little one poked a hole in her cup when putting in her straw and it was leaking out every where, I had to yell to the back to get someone to come up and grab us a cup to put the busted one in. not the best boba but its drinkable. only had the large size available which forces customers to pay more. the tapioca is too soft. the milk tea is too milky and it doesnt feel like theres any tea. what confuses me is how they have the tea, toppings, and sealing machine in the front but they constantly went back and forth between their kitchen back area and the front. this isnt very efficient. 20% of the cup was just foam. not much variety but they did just open so maybe i will return when they figure everything out. this place is definitely catered to...
