Let me preclude this by say there is a big a sign saying that it's customer satisfaction or whatever crap and if you fill out a comment card you get a free short stack... I could have filled out five...
This has by far been the WORST dining experience I've had in a long long long time! For IHOP to be a corporate company and have only one server on the floor with one big top and probably 5 maybe 6 other tables several with small children and Kevin, lily, and I think it'd be no big deal to have a quick bite and get home this poor server was working the floor greeting the guests putting in orders and hiding for dear life because the entire restaurant was looking for her because no one had food come out for like the last 30 minutes and then when it would we sat directly across from the window and watched it sit there while the two cooks and server seemingly drowned with the manager only quickly walking by once. I personally watched two three tops walk out because no one greeted them. When we got ready to go after waiting for our food for an hour hastily eating cause the baby was just not having it at this point and going over to pay the server while she was at a POS putting in another order. Walking I told the waitress how I felt and that I was sorry that she had been set up for failure I asked if there was a manager I could speak to and was told I don't know where she is. I'm sorry but I work for a ten table restaurant and every day of the week our owner is there or someone is there who will do everything to make sure you leave happy. I can't understand how a corporate restaurant that makes so much money could obviously give a care less about its employees. It was a blatant disregard for customer service and a slap in the face to not be invited back to try and make everything right in the way I would assume a chain like this would work. Huge disappointment. I am at times a terrible server we all have bad days and get short staffed and make mistakes but I communicate with people I show face I smile I offer refills, even if it's only to joke with you about my ADD when I realize I forgot to bring them. Not a good look corporate come down the road and I'll show you how I treat my guests.

Read moreWell where do I begin! Lets start with there was a 6 top 3 booths with 2 people at each, all on 1 side of the restuarant. We had a table of 9 adults, and 2 children. We waited 10 minutes for the male server to come take our drink order. Then in the middle of placing said drink order he walks off. Comes back finishes the drink order, states its going to be a few minutes to get this all together, really! 15 minutes later he hands us 1 drink places the rest of the drinks on the table behind us and proceeds to grab another tables bill. Yes, I served our drinks which were incorrect! Then he came over to take our food order and still didnt worry about our drinks. So during ordering he pretty much wrote down what he felt we ordered, lots of mistakes. Waited over an hour for just our food. As the food came out wrong, cold and missing what we ordered, argued with us about what we had. Now mind you we are on 1 hour and 45 mins since we entered the restaurant. Had to ask for our check not only from server but another female who told server to get our bill. Waited another 20 minutes and still no bill. Walked up to both females and asked for the bill again and proceeded to be told there are people who came in after you who want to pay their bill before you! Well, good thing you charged us 15% for horrible service and food because it sucked! I dont care if you fired someone today and 3 people were no shows, its not the customers problem!! Your management snd server training is a joke!! You need to spend more time in your units so you understand why sales and food cost are through the roof!! You are paying team members for a job they are not trained for and the back of the house needs to learn to cook eggs, bacon and pancakes a little faster than an hour!! My wife and I just got back from a cruise and are staying at a hotel for one night, after a long vacation we had decided to relax and just chill before our flight tomorrow.
So we order IHOP online and had it delivered.
Upon delivery we were missing our drinks, and my wife’s order completely. My order had peppers on it when we specifically asked for no bell pepper and Serrano peppers. Also, we asked for extra syrup and we did not receive one condiment. Not even butter, napkins, or a way to eat the food.... we asked delivery driver about this as we caught him in the hallway of the hotel and he kindly told us that he’d go back for us but we’d have to do it thru the app. So I decided to call IHOP and talked to Ron (manager) he gave us 2 options- either we drive up there and they fix everything or we go thru the online app.
This is such a inconvenience due to their lack of hiring incompetent employees and/or management! I would like to have a conversation with regional manager but I’m sure I will not even...
