Came here to try out the food. Ordered a Santa Fe wrap and another sandwich and didnât find out til 20 min later that they didnât have lettuce, I asked for another sandwich and they didnât have the bread for it. Compromised a lot and got a different sandwich just because it was the only thing they had MOST of the ingredients for. Hostess told me the reason they were out of everything was because they had been âclosed for a weekâ which makes no sense bc if youâre closed for a week, shouldnât that be plenty of time for the owner to restock ingredients? Hostess was really nice but I waited an hour for two sandwiches and neither came out so the kitchen staff is really lacking. Ended up leaving with just two coffees because we didnât have time to...
Read moreThis Cafe is a perfect gem! As a local I was so surprised that I never thought to stop here. Me and a friend decided to stop here for breakfast before work and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. The staff is loving, caring, and completely exceptional! As soon as you walk in you feel at home and staff makes sure to make you feel this way too. Both the server and cook came out to speak to us, seeing that we were new customers and they both greeted us with the warmest welcome. I ordered the croissant with the mini brownie & orange juice. My friend ordered the Belgian waffle with orange juice as well. Everything tasted fresh and the waffle was a decent size. I definitely recommend you to...

I had a cup of broccoli & cheese soup and an egg salad sandwich on a toasted, buttered croissant. The egg salad was delicious and, I was told, prepared to order. The plate special of the day (Friday) was RB&R that came with garlic bread and a side salad. If I had had the kind of grandmother that actually knew how to boil water, I imagine visiting her home kitchen would have felt just like this visit to Le Petit Cafe. They probably would have put more on my plate to "fatten [me] up" if I'd let them. I don't often find myself in Kenner but I would go out of my way to visit again and patronize these...
