I went to the West Esplanade location the day after Francine. I have never experienced a staff of people so loud, common, and unprofessional! There were four people working, all screaming loudly about personal business and things unrelated to providing decent service to their customers. They were using foul language, two of them were using their phones while on the line (cross contamination), and the lack of customer service was inexcusable. I sat for so long a staff asked my server, Kim, if my order had been taken and Kim began to be confrontational with me. I had to tell her that I was not the one who asked the question. She had never called my order out because she was too busy yelling about personal issues. Three people came in behind me, received their food and left. Instead of any kind of apology, Kim issued an excuse that someone had ordered 15 plates, which was not true, but still didn't explain why people that came behind me had received meals and left. I could go on with some of the egregious behavior, but it is safe to say that I will not return and will warn friends and listeners on my radio and Podcast platforms not to patronize...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm never going to this Waffle House again. The food is good but the employees are untrustworthy!! I went there on 2/22/2020(Mardi Gras wknd) and ordered $20.96 worth of food. When I paid for my meal, I put a "0" with a line thru it on the tip line because i paid the waitress a cash tip. Several days later, I realized that WH took over $12 tip and charged to my card. I usually always keep my receipts but for some reason I lost this one so I knew my chances of getting reimbursed was slim. But I still called them and insisted that if they looked thru their receipts they would see that I did not authorize a tip. I talked to Kadrina first and she ensured me should would look thru the receipts and would call me back. After not hearing from Kadrina for the next few days I called and talked to District Mgr, April she ensured me she would look into it but in the meantime to just dispute the charge and she would cooperate with my bank. Now I get mail from my bank saying they won't refund me because WH didn't give any info supporting that they took money off my card when I DID NOT AUTHORIZE A TIP. So if u go there just save urself some trouble...

We come into the nola area from Lafayette pretty often but this is our first time at this location and will be our last, due to our server. When we arrived, we looked around a bit and found a table being cleaned so walked over and my kids started to sit.. this woman yelled at them across the restaurant to get up. Fair enough. Once we sat, after another 5 or so minutes she put a menu down and asked what we wanted. When i told her I'd need a minute, she sighed loudly and walked away. 5 minutes pass and she returns. I ask for each of my kids to have 1 wake and one scrambled egg. She tells me "you can't order that.. did you even look at the menu? I asked her if i could just order a waffle and an egg and she said "they're 3.50 each. " okay? I finally convince her to take my order. She brings half our food, then 13 minutes later brings the rest. Then another 10 minutes till she came with our check. So much attitude. So rude. Food was fine, but thanks to her, we won't...
