I frequent Moe's locations all across the state, so I am well aware of what a visit to Moe's is supposed to be like. We did not get the trademark "Welcome to Moe's" greeting that we are so accustomed to receiving when we enter. Maybe I was not paying close enough attention and missed it, but if I did it was because it was done without the exuberance and excitement we are used to. Very saddened by that! There was not a long wait when we went, so we entered the line right away. Ordered two burritos and one bowl. My experience with Moe's has always been receiving enough meat and rice to actually make a burrito or a bowl. The person who was working behind the counter serving the rice and meats did a horrible job. Anyone who goes to Moe's regularly knows that by the time you load your burrito up it is humongous. The problem with the burritos we received was that the person who was adding the meat and rice threw very little meat and rice on them, so we ended up with burritos that were loaded with the extras (lettuce, pico, onions, peppers, etc.). And let's not talk about the bowl! She threw a small spoonful of rice in the bowl, about 8 pieces of chopped chicken, and an equal amount of steak. I ended up with a bowl full of condiments and vegetables! We paid almost $35 for a bunch of veggies and condiments! This won't discourage our visits to Moe's in the future, but I most certainly won't be going to this...
Read moreI called to start my order and spoke to Justin. Told him I wanted a cup of queso, a cup of tomatoes, and a cup of beans. I clearly asked him how much it would be and worth it to make the trip since the other locations I normally go to were closing at 9p. His store was open until 10p. He told me it would be around $5. I said ok. Came by, picked up my order, and another guy there tells me $8. I was like, what? I told him I spoke to Justin, to please have him come talk to me, but the guy who didn't speak English well would rather argue with me. He finally goes to the back, I guess to talk to Justin. Justin still does not come out because he can't be bothered to talk to an unhappy customer he just lied to or rather not deal with confrontation, either way- the guy who couldn't speak English well says $6.87. I said no, just give me the queso since I drove the way there and they can wipe themselves with the blk beans and tomatoes. I will never come here again.. Because you don't know what a customer has on them. You told them how much was it, and as a customer we are trusting you at your word, but when you try to change what you say to the customer then I lose all respect for your establishment. I don't care if it was 50 cent over, I'm not spending a dime over the tax of what u...
Read moreThis is a great Moe's. I only wish they didn't have to move from their original location. However, I understand why they moved.
Everyone who I have dealt with here has been awesome. They sometimes miss the "Welcome to Moe's" line when I come in, but that's not what's important. What's important is how they treat you and how nice they are.
The food is great. They do sometimes give you a small amount of chips, but you can just ask for more.
The only complaint I could even give is that sometimes the seasoned rice is a bit over-seasoned. Which I believe has only happened twice in the past year I've been going.
Update == Food quality has gone down quite a bit lately. My last two bowls I ate tasted like nothing but black pepper and paprika. Dropping score due to this.
I don't know what's going on with Moe's, but the food quality just keeps getting worse. Either the cooking methods are different or the ingredients have changed. The chicken tastes weird now. Dark meat has this weird slimy texture now and white meat has no flavor.
Using the app is hit or miss. This place usually let's you use it but a couple other places lie and say their...
