Panadería Lara — Restaurant in Kennett Township

Not sure if it's a culture thing or ya nadien tiene buenos modos! Went in to order two cakes but I was greeted with nothing but rudeness. Don't know their names but could definitely point them out if I had too. One girl in kitchen has no manners. Was pointing and laughing with cashier. All while looking at me! It's pretty easy to tell when people are talking about you. After that I didn't want to order anything but still stuck around because I really needed the cakes. Cashier girl asked me about 3 times if I was ready to order mind you I had only been in there for about 5 minutes. I don't know about y'all but I think I would need more time than that. Then she asked for phone # which we had to look up because we don't know it by memory and she got ANNOYED. People please remember you are NOT alone every and any face you make the customer will see it. After the continued disrespect, I said I was leaving to which she lifted her eyebrows in an annoyed manner. I have never been treated this poorly by a business. And yes, I did make annoyed faces as well. If you don't want to work please stay home. If you don't like talking to women perhaps this isn't the right job for you. Why do I say women? Because there were two gentlemen who came in for bread both whom were treated with respect. I saw the cashiers demeanor change IMMEDIATELY in the presence of a male. Sad that they're so desperate for attention. I have no choice but to take my business elsewhere. Any other day I would of given it 5 stars. This was my spot for a good guarache but today I called in to order a guarache with steak and cactus. This has been our order for 5 years, i know how to ask for it, it never changes... i came home and my husband right away noticed no meat!!! Great place for Mexican breakfast, lunch and treats. The people there are friendly and the prices are fair. They have a great selection of desserts, pastries and cakes to choose from, so you can't go wrong here. Maria at the counter was very kind and helpful when it came to helping me choose something from the menu.
