AZTECA RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Kennewick

Was excited to visit azteca on canal as I haven't been out since the pandemic and love Mexican food. Myself and girlfriend were seated having a beer having a nice time our waiter was great we were all laughing enjoying ourselves we proceeded to order our food when it all went down hill. A very young lady with a big attitude walked up to table asked how we were doing and who we were or mostly who was i. It very odd I answered please identify yourself as you are interrupting our meal she refused and again asked who I was when I told her it was none of her business she was very confrontational and I still had no clue who it was. Finally she asked do you want me to leave the table and I said yes please get away from us I don't know who you are. Then some random guy from the next booth started yelling at me to leave of I didn't like the service. I couldnt believe It I thought maybe this was candid camera. He continued to tell me that that was the owner who accosted us which I knew that wasn't true. I was absolutely stunned I'm 52 girlfriend 50 we are white and I will not play the race card like is always done if it were the other way around but it didn't seem like they wanted us there so I addressed the fine young man in the corner booth and paid for 2 beers at the front desk while paying I started talking to our waiter to the side and I asked who this young lady was and what happened he shook his head said he had no idea what happened and the girl was a hostess. I politely explained to her that she was unprofessional and there was no reason for her irrational behavior. The waiter apologized to me and even tried to give me my food to go as it had just come out I declined and apologized as well as he was probably going to get at least 15- 20 tip. Our friends treated us out to dinner for our anniversary. It was all of our first times here. We got seated quickly. The restaurant wasn’t busy but the food took a while to come out. The waitress who continued to serve us, ID’d me because I wasn’t familiar with any of the mix drinks on their menu and kept asking questions. I’m 30 years old! My husband is older than me and she did not ID him or our friend. She looks at me and tells me “they’re all just juice and liquor.” We all order she same drinks and the guys cups clearly comes with alcohol as I watch them take a sip. Sip mines and it tasted like a sunny D. I jokingly tell the guys “oh she’s right, it does taste like juice.” They quickly disagree so I pass my cup around and realize my cup alone didn’t have any liquor in it. Whatever, we were going out afterwards so we ignore it. Come the next day, our friend checks his transactions and she had change the tip amount from $10 to $100 and his card gets charged extra and calls to speak to a manager. Thankfully he gets his money back. Long story short, the atmosphere was nice. The food was decent, not much authentic mexican food and the customer service was lacking. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Today, I placed a pick up order over the phone to pick up on my lunch break. When ordering it was an issue as the person who took my order was rude and didn't even take my order correctly according to them when calling back with a complaint. The photos below are the "Deluxe Taco Salad" I wish i took a photo before putting it into the shell. it was a soup of ground beef with just maybe 10 little shreds of lettuce. Then I ordered a Mini Chicken Quesadilla, they did not put any chicken in it. When I called to complain, the lady kept trying to take a new order from me when I was telling her I already picked one up. I then passed the phone to a co worker fluent in spanish (which got the quesadilla) and that lady told her that i didn't order a chicken quesadilla and that we can pick up a bag of lettuce. After this, another co worker had called (the one that got the taco salad.)
