I went there to buy pants. As my wife and I were heading to the checkout, one of the employees removing security tags by the self scan registers told us we had to go to a regular cashier because we had over 8 items in our cart. So we said ok, there was one cashier almost at the other end of the store helping a customer. So we waited patiently for about 15 minutes. The cashier didn't even acknowledge us there waiting. Didn't even come over and say anything to us about helping us. My wife was so mad, that she said let's just go. So I grabbed her purse and handed it to her and we left the cart right there well over $300.00 worth of merchandise. I know if I was the owner of the store I would be really upset. Very poor management. They don't care about their customers. My wife and I agreed never to go back there again because it's a very unhealthy environment to shop at. If they 0 stars on reviews, I would...
Read moreI'm not sure about the customer service, but this is definitely no place for employment. My poor girlfriend was tossed around and expected to know thing she wasn't even trained for yet. And that's not even getting started on the training she did get. She was supposed to learn from a training buddy, who didn't even properly know how the clothing system works.
She was eventually forgotten by her training buddy, forced to locate the clothes by herself which took her far longer than it should have, if she was trained to the job properly. My girlfriend was close to a panic attack when she left this store, and was given such poor hours for the following week it's not even worth returning to this place.
Please, if you're looking for employment somewhere, avoid this store at all costs.
Props to the sps who was kind enough to help her out when she...
Read moreWe all expect to make compromises for the good deals we can find at Ross, but this particular store is not worth it. There was one person at the register and a line of about 15 people. Another employee was counting hangers at the front of the store and watching the self check out, which no one was in because the limit was only eight items. There is opportunity to improve if they increased the number of items at self checkout, but employee time here was poorly managed, and there was an indifference to the 15 customers waiting in line. The cashier said there is always a long line. It’s no wonder. The lines are not due to the quality or value, but rather to mismanagement. It does not have to be that way. I do not recommend this particular Ross. It’s the worst I’ve ever been in, and I have shopped at Ross stores across the country...
