Office Depot — Local services in Kennewick

I just need to let you know that "Ron" at the Kennewick store needs to be cloned and put in every aisle. I originally went in to buy a thumb drive that was on sale. I came across a salesperson that was busy on a desk top with no one else around him so I asked about the product. His answer was that it was out of stock , and no, they didn't give rain checks and then"I" had to ask if he had any others that I could look at and he sent me 3 aisles away. ( not a friendly experience AT ALL!!!!!! ) If you want me to tell you more about this man, please contact me at work M-F 6am - 3pm, 373-3717, now on to the STAR of the show!!!!Ron asked me , on my way out, if I'd found everything I needed and I told him what I was looking for ( I had my print out that I brought to the store with me to show him EXCATLY what I needed. WEll, after I told him that they were out an that I oculdn't get another one, he said "I can get that for you right now"!!! I was so happy. we stepped up to the front counter and he pulled up information on the computer, he used a "save the sale "feature that I didn't know you had and got my 2 thumb drives, I paid for them and was soooooooooooooo impressed that he would go out of his way to help me I told him I would be contacting the store !!! Good to my word, here is his review. Now, the very next day, in the afternoon , my thumb drives were delivered directly to my house by a courier!!! Yesterday I went in to buy a desk like the one I had that has seen better days. The price on the desk wasn’t the sale price advertised. Daniel checked the price and assured me it was on sale , and in stock. He was polite, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable . He loaded it in my car and thanked me for coming in. Today I decided I needed the matching bookcase. I called and Daniel assured me it was in stock and was the sale price in the advertisements. When I got to the store I asked if anyone was in furniture. Both male associates told me no, however, Kyle walked me back and helped me locate the bookcase. He price checked and checked to assure it was in stock. We walked back up front for me to pay and Daniel came up and said he had the display model of the printer station I originally wanted it but it had some major blemishes. I looked at it, said I would pass and thanked him. Kyle finished the transaction and loaded it in my car. 100% impressed with Daniel and Kyle. Great attitude. Friendly service and genuinely interested in helping me. (Sorry Kyle I judged you too quickly and Daniel does deserve a raise) I would definitely recommend this Office Depot to my friends and family. I purchased a very expensive Shaquille O'Neill Nereus chair for my wife, it was about $500. The product had defects straight from the factory, and after a month the seat cushion was nearly gone. You could feel the metal and wood in the chair when you sat down. Neither me nor my wife are overweight, and it wasn’t used for anything more than work hours. Office Depot would not let me return the item because of the “open box” policy with office furniture. I contacted the company that works with customers on warranty, to see if I could get replacement parts for the chair. It’s been over 4 months and every time I contact them they say “it should ship soon”. I’m starting to think they are just trying to wait out my warranty. I’m extremely disappointed in Office Depot. I feel like I was scammed. No option for refund, and horrible warranty service. The chair still smells new, hasn’t been used since it became uncomfortable a month after buying it. Office Depot customer service told me since I didn’t order online it wasn’t their problem. I will never shop at this store again, and I encourage every person considering shipping here not to bother.
