Hops n Drops — Restaurant in Kennewick

We ordered a starter of mozzarella sticks and chicken taquitos, the presentation was fantastic, clean and stylish, the taste was awesome, the taquitos had a slight kick, I love spicey and wouldn't of minded more kick, the sticks were great but my husband wasn't overly impressed with the ranch, wasn't bad but not memorable.

Our main meals were the BLT & A with tots and fry sauce and hand breaded chicken strips with fries. The fries were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The chicken, though smaller pieces, were many and had great flavor! The BLT&A was fantastic, the bread was a non-overwhelming flavor and soft, the avacado was fresh and ripe, the bacon wasn't layered in a high stack like I've seen in other sandwiches but was great in not over whelming the meal of being to much bacon or to much lettuce and avacado, a good balance in my opinion. The tots were awesome, crisp and the fry sauce a tangy almost sweet flavor.

And the strawberry lemonade was AMAZING, I shamelessly drank 3 glasses of it. My husband had mountain dew and he said it tasted better than what he gets out of a bottle or can.

Our server was fantastic, she didn't ask how food was while we were chewing, wasn't overbearing in checking on us or the people around us but consistent enough when we needed a refill she was right there to go get it.

The facility was clean and organized, not a dirty table in sight, the wait staff were very quick and thorough on having a clean floor and tables.

For being our first visit to a hopjacks we were impressed and plan to return...

Update to the update: when the bartender, at our urging, spoke to the manager, the manager explained flakes are normal in beer and they are to keep serving the beer. On an unrelated note, don't drink the Irish Death...Update to my last post: on multiple occasions, I watched in awe as basic cleanliness was completely ignored. On one occasion, I sat in a place I could see the kitchen. A pan dropped onto the floor and was simply placed back on the rack. Today, my friend got a beer and noticed, once it was finished, that there were flakes and chunks at the bottom. When brought up to the bartender, she explained that they're supposed to clean their taps, but clearly the shift before hers didn't. We later heard her serving the same beer to another patron. The manager got up from a booth, sneezed in her hands, and immediately grabbed a menu from the bar and made her way into the kitchen without washing her hands....I have changed my rating to a solid 1..... Excellent food and good atmosphere. The service is touch and go, but the food is spectacular! Their drinks are good, but they could stand to improve their draft...

First off we were greeted pretty fast and friendly. We got sat by the gentleman did not catch his name because no one was wearing a name tags. At first our server came and got our drink orders. She asked if we wanted any appetizers and started to name off a few. My wife asked our daughter if she wanted to share mozzarella sticks my daughter was like yeah. Then the waitress was like that is one thing we are out of and that's why I didn't suggest it. (Well I have been an assistant manager and a server that's the first thing I would tell my customers if we were out of something). So we settled on the deep fried cauliflower bites. Then we ordered our food which came out pretty fast after that our server only came and checked on us once she only had three tables and stood at the one for at least five minutes my wife raised her hand to get her attention to no avail so we got up and went to the front to pay and then we left I didn't get our servers name until I looked at the receipt and her name is Tiffany.
