A business in Kennewick, Washington removed the American flag and replaced it with two black American flags—often seen as a symbol of rebellion or resistance. While that alone raised some eyebrows, what really crosses the line is flying the Mexican flag in its place. Doing that on American soil, while benefiting from the freedoms this country provides, comes across as deeply disrespectful to many. This isn’t just about symbolism—it’s about sending a message, and not a great one. I don’t think the owners realize how much business this move could cost them—something small businesses can't afford to gamble with. Strange decision, to say the least.

I've been to Knots & Grounds five times, and every time in I get something new off their drink menu. Anything with espresso is recommended because you can really taste the quality of the beans through even the sugariest of drinks. A few days ago I decided to try Flight Friday (pictured) and that was a really fun experience! I've never had a caffeine flight before, and I'm happy I tried it. There is a pretty decent size space inside with couches, cozy chairs, fish tanks, and lots of plants. It's been a pretty relaxing spot to read a book and just be alone for a minute. This place is definitely a new favorite coffee spot!

I wish there was a Knots + Grounds on every corner in Tri-Cities. They have the friendliest staff & I’m always greeted with such kindness at the drive-thru. I’m a chai guy & they always craft the best drinks! I don’t live anyway near their location which is a testament to their quality & service 🤎 HUGE shoutout to the owner & staff for creating an experience for their customers!!

I would like to express my concerns regarding the recent recognition awarded to this business. It has come to my attention that the owner engaged in practices that may not align with ethical standards. Specifically, I observed that the owner was offering complimentary drinks and pastries in exchange for votes, which created an environment where many felt compelled to participate.

While it is understandable that businesses seek recognition, the approach taken by the owner raises questions about the integrity of the voting process. Furthermore, I have noticed that the business frequently opens late, and during my visits, I have overheard the owner making disparaging remarks about both former customers and current employees. Initially, I found this behavior somewhat amusing; however, I now believe it is imperative for the owner to be transparent about their management practices.

It is disheartening to see that other deserving businesses may be overlooked due to such practices. Customers, regardless of any incentives, deserve to be treated with respect, and the manner in which votes are solicited should reflect a commitment to ethical business conduct.

Additionally, it is unfortunate that numerous loyal customers and employees have felt compelled to leave due to a culture of harassment surrounding the voting process, which, regrettably, appears to have been effective once again this year- I wish no harm- this is more of clearing my conscience!

  • **Review: Update

I had high hopes for this local establishment, but my recent experiences have left me disappointed. The drinks I ordered tasted more like muddy sugar water on ice, which was quite unappetizing. When I asked Colin, the owner, for a bagel, I was informed it was stale—but that toasting it would fix the issue. Unfortunately, that was the last straw for me.

Despite my efforts to support a local business, I found that I could no longer tolerate the declining quality and service. My previous interactions and requests had already raised concerns, but this recent visit made it clear that I was simply wasting my money and patience. It’s unfortunate, as I wanted to enjoy my time there, but I will not...

UPDATE: CAME IN 6/16/25 and was told my drink listed below should be $7.25? When I informed her I've been getting the same coffee every time for 5$ and confirmed she made the right coffee she expressed they "should have been charging you $7.25 for your 12oz 2 white one dark iced americano w/ cream this entire time." Zeizah was behind her and stated she didn't know. Wont be coming back again. that's way too expensive for a 12oz tri-shot coffee.

This place was SO nice when I came in 6/8/25, the two workers were polite and present and the coffee tasted so good! I ordered a 12oz tri-shot (2 white 1 regular) iced americano w/ honey and extra whipping cream for 5$. It came out perfect and the communication they had was great! Really happy with my coffee, my experience, and my purchase even though it was a little more expensive than other places the girls and quality was high as well ♡ update: Ziezah was there my second time and not only remembered my drink but was SO personable, nice, professional, and detailed. The coffee came...

I like their drinks and have been going there for a while. Today, the barista said they would "try to get to our drinks" while they continued to serve everyone in the Drive-Thru. I'm perfectly willing to wait my spot in line if there were a bunch of cars before me, but after 25 minutes they still didn't get to our drinks and kept taking cars that showed up a long time after I did. When I went to ask about my drinks, the barista said that drive-through takes priority. I shouldn't have to wait for an indeterminate amount of time to get served, until there are no cars left. And if I'm going to have to wait over 25 minutes to get a drink, you should let customers know when they walk in the door. The seating area is nice but it's a waste of space if you're not going to give those customers service when cars are going through the Drive-Thru. I think this situation could have been handled better. I understand that there was one person, she could have asked 1 car to wait so she could provide service to the Lobby...
