This Dunkin used to be good, however, there have been serious issues with it recently. Many times in the past few months, there have been long waits for in store orders, burnt food, straight up out of something and not informing 20+ minutes while we wait, needing to pull to the curb, etc. Today specifically, I visited around 12pm with my friend, we placed our orders in the drive through. We pulled up and the worker at the window wasn't very pleasant to start with. After we told her we had two orders and paid, she handed us our donuts then disappeared. Then, another worker came up and asked if we were waiting on drinks. She was very nice! I got handed my drink, which was actually placed after my friend's, so we still had to wait on hers. At this point we have been sitting at the window for maybe 3-5 minutes. The first worker came back, and my friend politely asked about her drink, and when she got her drink, handed it to my friend and said "HERE.". How rude! I never leave negative reviews for places because I have worked retail and I understand that it can be hard and stressful, but this interaction was enough that I felt the need to. TLDR: If you go to Kent State, drive to the Dunkin by Mike's Place instead of this one. It is usually more consistent and the workers are all kind. The silver lining today was the drink was good, but I can't say that for...
Read moreI used to come here all the time, but started having a number of bad experiences. Not sure what's going on here, but I don't see myself frequenting much in the future.
1 year update: I made the mistake of starting to visit again, and they messed my order up. I called in to get it corrected, and when I arrived to pick it up, one of the managers started giving me a hard time about something that had already been acknowledged and after I had already been assured it would be fixed.
I get that people make mistakes, and that happens everywhere, but it's very irritating when a business messes up and you have to struggle with them to make it right. I don't have the time or patience to debate you in the drive through when I'm trying to get my order fixed so I can get to work on time.
2 year update: I tried giving this place another shot, but the last 2 times I came in I preordered and it still took 30 minutes the first time and 20 minutes the second time to get the food I ordered and it was cold. I get places are struggling with staffing, but maybe places should start paying better wages and staffing appropriately instead of trying to run everything on skeleton crews, which is guaranteed to burn out otherwise...
Read morePeople have a bad day. People even have bad weeks, bad month, and bad years. This Dunkin' has been nothing but bad since before the pandemic. It's Dunkin'. There is a certain minimal expectation when it comes to the food, an expectation that this location is presently incapable of. All of my sandwiches look as if they'd been assembled by a team of blind howler monkeys play disc golf with the components, and they have somehow managed to bend the laws of thermal dynamics by serving food that is both burnt and frozen at the same time. I also assume that my has browns should not be small piles of chopped potatoes at the bottom of my bag. The entire staff would rather be somewhere else, as would I, and all I can recommend is that everyone here could benefit from a healthy uptake in recreational drugs. The store is perpetually covered in that not quite mape syrup sticky, coupled with the faint aroma of desperation and failure. The gas station that used to occupy this parcel of land was by far more sanitary, and with less flies. Please, we all know you can do better and achieve 2 stars. We're all...
