This place sucks, period. The staff are slow and rude and spend most of the time walking around doing nothing instead of making your order. Wait times are ridiculous - I've sometimes spent over an HOUR here waiting for a CHEESEBURGER! 9 times out of ten your food will either be messy, cold, old (not fresh), or incorrect. There were multiple times where they've forgotten to give me FRIES!!! How do you forget fries?? Had to start taking pictures of my receipts just in case they forget something since they take yours when you get your food.
There is no consistency in the product you're receiving and the employee turnover is ridiculous. Every single time I go there is a new set of employees working, all who seem to have no idea what they're doing nor how to communicate with one another. Routinely understaffed in the evenings and on weekends. They are also very bad at keeping the dining and condiment areas clean and fully stocked. Forget about getting any napkins or sauce for your food, they'll be too busy to refill it.
Consider talking to a manager about your experience? Forget it. The employees' attitudes trickle down from them and they also seem miserable and unfriendly. Most of the time they're not even on the line helping - they're hiding in the office or chatting with colleagues. I hope those conversations are more important than your customers. There is only ONE good manager there - the short, white-haired elderly lady with glasses. When she's there I have a good experience. Aside from that - not really.
Only reason(s) worth going here would be the late-night convenience if you don't want to go off-campus for food. But it would be quicker venturing off campus to something like BK or Chipotle than sitting here for an...
Read moreIt's not D/deaf or Hard-of-Hearing accessible. There, so far, have been no one that signs there. This morning, however, there was a very friendly man who knew very, very little sign. I signed thank you and he said it back. I came back for lunch and he tried his hardest to communicate with me - asking if I got a number. He typed it in his phone instead. He was so friendly and helpful! For me, I let them read my phone (which asks if they can tell me when my number is ready) - they do. No questions asked! There have been times when I did not need to tell them to tell me when my number is ready. They know me, so they ask or come up to me and view my number HOWEVER, it only happens with 3 people out of all working there. The one permanent, accessible thing about Rosie's is that there IS flashing fire alarms. I've edited this section about 3 times so far because my accessibility have been a degrading experience since I first made this review.
As for the food, it is good. As the other reviews have said, it takes awhile to get food. I waited about an hour to get 5 chicken tenders, a small thing of fries, and juice. There are also not many options for food - when you've had it for awhile... it can get old quickly. It would be nice if Lunch and Dinner had different menus and there were more side options.
For other things, if you have anxiety or are claustrophobic, please be careful here. It is easy to get overwhelmed by how many people hurdle around where they get food. The worst times to go is around 7:30PM - 11:30PM. Around those times, it is easy to get pushed around since it is often crowded.
Overall, it's an...
Read moreHas the potential to be a decent on campus dining option, but the long wait times and inconsistent menu are ridiculous.
They axed the soda fountain so no refills, axed a couple items from the menu, and made some portions smaller for no reason. And no you don't even get a bottle, you get a can, which is less soda than they used to give you with the fountain.
Wait times are atrocious depending on the time of day and sometimes your food doesn't even come out at all. One time I ordered mozzarella sticks and 30 minutes later I checked in on my order and they said they didn't have any mozzarella sticks? Why not tell me that when you received my order?
The food quality varies. Sometimes my Greek veggie wraps taste strange and one time I found a piece of plastic in there. One time I ordered a veggie burger and my burger was clearly beef. They should be more careful because if you serve beef to someone who can't eat it for religious reasons you could be in a lot of trouble.
You have to listen for your order number which is VERY bad for the hearing impaired. Sometimes they have a microphone, sometimes they don't. Nothing is consistent...
