I am reviewing this restaurant, as my original order for another Mediterranean restaurant was canceled against my wishes. My WIFE and MYSELF ordered a GREEK PIZZA, FALAFEL PLATTER, DOLMENS, and she got her own separate meal for herself. For the Greek Pizza or also known as "Lahmacun" was interesting as it was not like TRADITIONAL EAST COAST PIZZA. It is on a piece of flat bread and no sauce, just the meat and toppings he ordered. I purchased the seasoned beef and tomatoes flavors of pizza. It was SWEET BEEF and not a very ROBUST flavor. Overall I liked the "Lahmacun" and was sad when I consumed it all. Next was the Falafel Platter, the hummus was amazing and by far the best I have ever had. The "baba ganoush" was not as RICH OR ROBUST as the hummus, the "baba ganoush" is more tangy and creamy. I was surprised by what a Falafel was, as I have never seen or had one before. BUT UNLIKE BLAND AMERICAN FOOD, IT WAS FULL OF FLAVOR. THE SPICES WERE SO STRONG, THAT I HAD TO DRINK WATER AS IT OVER POWERED MY MOUTH. Robust lingering fried veggies was amazing and I am still able to taste it. Next was the Domlans, I have never had a one of these before. First was the strong smell and the shape of the Dolmens. It was very tangy and flavorful, I had a hard time find out what was inside the grape leaves, from a GRAPE PLANT, but I was told that it was rice. Overall, I enjoyed the food to the point I will order from this restaurant again.

Update: we revisited the restaurant on Saturday. We were group of 5 adults and 5 kids. The service was super bad. We ordered 5 main lamb tikkas, pizza, 3 sandwiches and a burger. Food quantity was way less compared to last time we visited. They did not even gave us cutlery and the bread that comes with the main course. When we asked for it, they gave us stale bread which were cold and hard and plastic spoons and forks to eat. I will never go back to this restaurant again. Also the place was super hot as there was no air-conditioning or ventilation. Food is good but Music is too loud.. We went to Shanasheel on a weekday. It was less crowded (which I wanted). The location is not that classy but once you enter the restaurant it is very nice. Ambience, service, halal food etc. Coffee is a must try and they have a wide variety of desserts / baklava. Prices are very reasonable and my kids also loved the food here. We will go back here sometime soon again. Hope that they will lower volume in our next visit.

This is a new middle eastern restaurant in the greater Seattle area , near Kent . The exterior of the restaurant is very cute with colored glass windows . The interior is as cute as the exterior. They have a dedicated side for desserts that reminds me of Turkey . They have all the basic Entrees / appetizers you would expect like chicken and lamb kababs , hummus , baba ghanoush , Tahini and etc.... Huge portions and tastes good . Let’s say what’s unique about this place, they have this big family platter that’s has all their grilled items . This plate is great for a family of 4 ! Also the desserts , Turkish coffee and tea are really good . They also have live music on some days . I took off one star because the place is still new and servers are very slow and food takes some time to be cooked . Hopefully they get better by time . Chicken shawarma was a tad over cooked . Place was good enough for us to go back for a second visit .

Had the worst dining experience of my life here yesterday on 6/24. From the moment we walked in we felt unwelcomed. It took the waitress 20 minutes after seating us to come take our order even though it was not busy at the time (around 4pm). We even considered just leaving at this point, which I wish we did. Servers seemed to intentionally avoid us by not looking to our table and walking around the long way so as to walk behind us out of view. Not one single time did the server come check on us during our dining duration. When she did come to the table she was extremely rude and dismissive. My chicken shawarma sandwich had old, dry meat that just crumbled apart. The lamb and beef shawarma sandwich also had old meat that smelled rancid. When we asked the guy preparing the shawarma how old it was he told us he didn't know, which is something you should know if you are serving it to people. We had to return it after one bite and got nothing in return and still had to pay for it. After eating what we could eat we had to wait a long time to get a box and our bill because the waitress never checked or even looked at us. I had to call her over for the box and after waiting some more time with her failing to check back in or bring us the bill, we just went to the register ourselves to pay. Overall it was a terrible food and service experience. I am not hard to please and am generally understanding and compromising towards servers and food service workers but this was just absurd. I would not...

Just wanted to share my experiences, when there is really good or really bad things I share my reviews. This was my 4th time at this restaurant every year they get worst and worst. First when they opened around 2019/2020 they were good tbh. Now 2024 the service the food and toilet and wait all garbage. I drove from Everett to Kent to go to Alexanderia restaurant ( my favorite) they were packed bc of Eid. Anyway my first impression was the toilet was fluded disgusting right away my apatite closed. Then sat on a dirty table food was sticking to my shoes. Then they said it's gana take about an hour for food to be ready I said no problem understand it's Eid and busy then everything I ask for from the menu they don't have except kabab and small selection I was like fine will get what you have. Then after an hour we get the food I got chicken wrap and meat wrap and eggplant salad. Everything was eather cold as ice or burned. The wraps are disgusting not worth 3$ the frise was cold. The eggplant was burned the bread was burned the other bread was cold. The samosa was not cooked I still had to pay for what the kids ate even tho it was disgusting this place just keep going down. We came home my stomach hurt kids throwing up and had worst Eid mode. This place keep going down I feel bad tbh if they don't get their A game up they may endup sued for...
