Pizza Twist — Restaurant in Kent

My Order: Lg Thin and Crispy pepperoni and bacon pizza Cheese garlic bread Caesar Salad 2 liter Dr. Pepper 2 sides of ranch

Problems: pizza not thin and crispy Blue cheese was given with my Caesar salad Pizza crust and cheese were burnt.

I ordered online for delivery - they use door dash and there is no mention of this on their site but ok. Food was delivered quickly and it was hot, but it was not what I ordered. I called the restaurant to let them know and was put on hold while other orders were taken. I could hear this as they must have just set the receiver down. Ok it’s Friday they’re busy I get it. As I finally started to explain to the woman on the phone what my issues were she was extremely defensive. Let’s start with the salad, I mentioned that I got blue cheese dressing. I didn’t mention the warm lettuce or soggy croutons. She insisted I didn’t pick a dressing for the Caesar salad. Didn’t know I needed to specify this because I assume a Caesar salad comes with Caesar dressing. And their website doesn’t ask you to specify dressing. Now the pizza not thin and crispy, the lady was like oh well the toppings are right. And then she said she would check how they made it. Continues to insist it is thin and crispy as I stare at this hand tossed mess of burnt crust and cheese. To which the lady says all pizza has cheese that looks like this. Now pizza is my jam so I’ve had some of the best out there. This is NOT it. I really try to support local and know that some places have off days but this lady’s attitude just ruined it for me. I got a Mug root beer instead of Dr. Pepper. The response to that is they don’t carry Dr. Pepper so most people just pick root beer. Why is this on your menu if you don’t even carry it. They also listed Barq’s as their root beer but I got Mug instead. She said I could bring it back and she wouldn’t charge me for the drink. I had this delivered for a reason not going to take it back. She said I could also bring them the pizza to prove it wasn’t thin and crispy and she could give me a discount on my next order. I would have been happier with a Little...

I got a coupon from them and decided to give them another shot. Those hot wings WERE pretty awesome.

I had ended up actually getting charged the last time, even though he said it didn't go through and I had cancelled the order. I contacted my bank to resolve that. So, this time I just avoided what is obviously a problem area and paid cash.

The pizza arrived in good time, and wasn't smashed! Seems they do pay attention to reviews and started adding little plastic supports to protect the pizza. I have ordered many times since, and some times stuff can come a bit over cooked, it is pretty delicious all the same. I enjoy their food especially the wings which are tandoori chicken and wing sauce. Their curry pizzas are well done and creative, and their classics are solid. I recommend then as they're the fastest delivery, and good food. Just make sure to pay cash.

The pizza was good, and delivery was quick. However the pizza arrived smashed and sticking to the box lid. Ordering is a supreme hassle, as the website doesn't allow for anything but cash transactions, and the people answering the phone are inattentive, and don't seem to know their menu or how to enter orders. After 15 minutes repeating because they weren't listening I eventually got an order.

I attempted a second order and had the same issues with a different person. Another 15-20 minutes repeating, listening to dead air when they just wouldn't respond until eventually getting a "Huh" or some mumbling. The person clearly didn't know how to run a card payment, so just didn't rather than asking for help. It's good food, but not good enough to deal with this hassle. WORST experience we have had with a local Indian pizza place. Where do I start. 04/09/20: Delivery took just under two hours after being told 40min on the website. The delivery driver kept getting lost and I had to walk two blocks to find her. Food was COLD, like literally everything was COLD. Pizza/Food = LAXATIVE we all are running to the bathroom this morning. Pizza (Tandoori Chicken) is what we ordered. Super SWEET. Spice Options (No Spice, Medium, Mild, Spicy & Extra Spicy) We chose medium spice, and the pizza was literally inedible. It was horrible. So hot you can’t get a full bite without spitting it out. (did they mix our pizza order up?) Wings: (Indian Style Wings) The most slimy, sweet wings we have ever tried. Not even 1 wing was eaten, it was that bad. Lam Kabob Bread Sticks had little I mean little Kabob on them. Basically, bread with pineapple and a small hint of a kabob. Again sweet. The Tiramisu was sill frozen in the middle. **Everything we ordered was Indian style, worst mistake we made. We are on a hunt for Indian pizza like we use to get in Surrey, well this is NOT the spot.
