Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Kent

Very disappointed in our visit this evening. Walked in and wasn't greeted at all. Waited two mins for the employees to finish there personal conversation before being acknowledged. The staff carried on there personal conversations extremely loudly. Fast forward to when we got the food finally (almost 10 mins after our scheduled pickup time--one other customer in building besides me)..... both sandwiches weren't cut in half. They were thrown together. Our one sandwich had hair on it. Color of hair not matching mine or my husbands. Our other sandwich (chicken cordon bleu) had bacon on it, it's suppose to be ham, it also was missing a few other ingredients; lettuce and tomato. As a restaurant manager to a small business I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received and the presentation of the sandwiches...

Went in thinking i would be happy with my choice in lunch today seeing how i drove over 30 miles to this place. The black girl who took my order act as if she didn't hear me on my request for how i would like my sandwich. Finally after a long time with the whats and sorrys and what did you says the order was place it proceeds to the cook Olord here we go a person who cant read. He ask the cashier no ham add chicken she looks like idk the paper right there make it how it says. So i guess he has an attitude now. why she make him mad whn its my food dang so my pizza sub has no ham nor chicken thanks alot paying for sumthing and not getting it blows wont be going back for such a small town the people aren't very kind must...

The only reason the atmosphere is a 4 is merely because, in my earnest opinion, this place puts the "hidden" in "hidden gem!" Tucked away behind a car repair shop on one of the busiest streets in downtown Kent, it's easy to stroll on by this locale without ever being aware of its existence! And what a shame that would be, if not for the name they have built for themselves! Pride is harnessed by good ol' fashioned hard work, know-how, and a tenacity for doing it up right... all of which are put on display and definitely radiates through the amazing taste only a well-run Penn Station can deliver! Take my advice: don't pass...
