I was visiting from Vegas to see some old friends at this little bar...I love Hebron because I grew up around here so instead of going somewhere fancy I met up with some friends here. First off my waitress was RUDE. We sat down and she asked what we wanted and I told her I wasn't sure what kind of liquor I wanted yet because I didn't drink often...she gave me some options and then rudely said "look I'm just trying to help you out if you would just pick one". She would come over every now and then and grab our drinks to put them back on the coaster if we moved them like she was our mom or something...Then after about 20 minutes of her not coming over to ask us if we wanted another drink I went up to the bar and asked the bartender for a drink since our waitress was nowhere to be found. The bartender was nice and she got me a drink as I told her we were sitting at a table and pointed to it...as I was walking back to my table our waitress said "don't you ever go up to the bar to get a drink, the bartenders don't like it when you do that"..I was shocked that she would say that especially with an attitude. I said "ok...I couldn't find you so I wanted to get another drink." She said "Next time you come to me and get your drink you don't go to the bar to get one, I'm not trying to be your mom or anything, but you don't do that." THANKS for making me feel like I was 5 years old again if you did your job and waited on us quicker I wouldn't have to get up and get a drink. I wish I knew the name of this waitress because I would love to talk to her manager. I will not come back here because that waitress made my last night in KY horrible. Please train your staff better in customer service this is coming from a director of a popular gym in Vegas. I know how customer service should be and she was horrible. It isn't hard to...
Read moreso I'm 16 and a sophomore in highschool. We were in the area and I was with my family going out to eat because we were celebrating a promotion that my dad had received at the corporation he works for. We walked into a restaurant that none of us had ever been to... Longnecks Sports Bar and Grill. We walk in and the environment is just like a Sports Bar and Grill should be. You have TV's on every wall and corner, men off to the side betting on the current game going on, families eating wings and burgers, etc. overall a really nice environment. My family takes a seat and a waitress comes over. She's very sweet. My order specifically was the Carolina Reaper wings. I had never had them before. I was told you aren't truly a man until you have had them and coming out of this experience, I am a man now. Where this story takes place is not at the restaurant, but 2 hours later when I am sitting at home. I am sitting down and I have this rumble in my stomach. It's not the usual rumble. This one is the one that tells you the flood gates of hell are about to be unleashed. I feel the pressure building, I run/hobble to the bathroom, cheeks are clenched to avoid an accident in the middle of the hall. I reached the bathroom, sat down as the cursed oozing foam began to unleash and that's when it all broke loose. I was sitting as each push was another bomb going off inside the porcelain throne. The Browns were taken to the superbowl, the kids dropped off at the pool, I had seen a man about a horse, but nothing had compared to the grueling 20 minutes I had experienced not even less than 45 minutes ago to the time I'm writing this. As I was sitting there, thinking, much pain to my insides, all I could think about.. "man.. I'm a little hungry. I know a good place to get some 5 star...
Read moreTonight was only my second time patronizing, but I must say, after my experience, Longnecks has a customer for life... Last week was my first time, and I purchased food and was very pleased by both the food and the service I received from Alex, one of the waitresses. Then tonight, when I placed a pick up order by phone, when I went to pay for it, my card was declined. Knowing that I had more than enough money in my account to cover the balance, I asked Alex to swipe my card again. After she was unsuccessful multiple times, I asked her to get her manager, (a gentleman also named Alex). Alex tried running my card manually, but it was again declined. Thinking that perhaps my card had been frozen due to fraud protection, (which I later learned from my bank was indeed the case), Alex the manager insisted that I go ahead and take the salad I ordered and that it would be on the house as he understood and had experienced a similar situation with his card in the past... This meant so much to me because I was on my lunch break and had only grabbed my license and credit card, leaving my other cards, cash, and wallet back in my office. So I had no other way to pay and was truly famished... Like last time, the food was just as tasty. But what's more, even if it hadn't been, I would still be returning because the customer service, (and atmosphere), is unbeatable!!!... Thanks again Alex and Alex! See you...
