Drive thru breakfast for 2. Big breakfast w/ hotcakes, McMuffin , hash brown, coffee, coke, biscuit & gravy. No special orders or requests. Paid at 9:30. Got food at 9:58. The line was packed but got to order after a 5-7 minute wait, ordered (1 min), and time waiting to pay 3-5 minutes. Then I had 28 minutes waiting for food. Went inside & asked if they forgot me (that's why it took only 28 minutes and not longer). This trip was the 3rd time they left me waiting more than 20 minutes at the drive thru because they forgot me. What else do they forget? To wash their hands? You forgot this customer, not just once, but three times. They remembered to collect payment for 2nd rate food and lousy service (I could've had Waffle House for the same price plus good food / service. In fact had I not had an appointment I'm now late for, or known I'd have more than ½ hours trying to get what I paid for I would have gone to Waffle House). Three times this McDonalds has left me sitting until I went inside and complained. Fast food my McAss. If I performed my job like the crew here I'd get fired...So how are you still in business? You take money then forget the customer after that. No excuse for this McCrap.
You have 5 to 6 screens with the orders on them. The order taker terminal (which has a mirrored order in the drive thru) will send the order to the fry station, hot food line (2 to 4 displays depending on store size), cold food line, drink station, packing station and the drive thru pickup window. Am I warm? You can recall bumped orders from all these stations.
I pull to the first window and the girl tries to give me the wrong order. Again, How? There are cameras in each drive thru line (from your vehicle drivers seat: face your left side mirror. Now look up. Right there. That's the camera. When the order is finalized it snaps a pic of your vehicle and places it with your order. So why did drive thru girl get my full sized utility truck confused with the cars all around me? I tell her my order has the big breakfast with hotcakes. She reads my order back, doesn't give me drinks, and says pull forward to the rail. At 9:36 a girl says she needs my receipt so they can get my order correct. I wonder about this for a second and give her the receipt. Maybe the system went down. From 9:36 until 9:53 car after car after car gets food and leaves. One car pulled into the waiting spots but quickly gets his order and leaves.
At 9:53 (23 minutes after paying) I go inside to complain. The manager got pissy in response to me being pissy. So be it. No one said anything out of line. I go back to my truck. The same girl that took my receipt comes out to ask me what I ordered. I asked how she lost my receipt. She said that "they" had it inside and she just wanted to get my order correct. I told her rather angrily to find my receipt and to not forget my drinks. This is 9:54 or 9:55. Three minutes later she came out with my order.
What the McHell is wrong at this place? Incompetence? Stupidity? Lack of training? Improper management? The way this store operates repeatedly allows for a customer to have to go inside to ask where the food is after waiting 25 minutes on three separate occasions. An employee never should ask for your receipt to get the ordered items correct. Nor, after reminding them I'm still waiting for food, should that same employee come ask you what you ordered because they don't have the receipt.
Would you return here? Guess this place is run by a clown. I thought it was...
Read moreLooking for fast food that isn't so fast? Looking to be disappointed when you finally get to the "finish line" just to be told park "over there" with 5 or more other people who've been waiting get their food, while dozens behind you get their food immediately? Look no further. The food is as expected. The same stuff we received as kids just without the speedy service. If you go here when it isn't busy, you'll receive food that is cold, old or soggy. If you go when it is busy, hopefully you're lucky and all their waiting spots are full and their forced to get you through quickly to maintain their service metrics. They have to push orders through in a certain period of time. Frankly, they can't keep up with the pace of having two drive-thru purchase kiosks during peak hours so they ask people in line to pull forward until those are full and start actually serving people at the window once they are full. Those that are waiting in the spots can expected to spend close to 20 or 30 minutes on the entire trip. For reference my order had no special requests. We ordered a nugget meal and hamburger meal, no special requests. There should be no excuse for the need to wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes after already waiting 10-15 to get to the window where you receive your simple order. They should've stuck with only only one line and drive-thru kiosk as this location has never really been able to handle the influx of customers from two when two kiosks are needed. I've been to mcdonalds locations where this system is utilized effectively and this just isn't one of them. Avoid this location during rush hours. They cannot handle peak hours without making customers who've already paid wait unnecessary long in spots across from the serving window. At least before they had their two kiosks, you could see the line and tell they were...
Read moreGreat friendly fast service and a beautifully redesigned interior with a calming vibe. This has got to be one of the nicest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Both restaurant and bathrooms were very clean at our August Sunday morning visit. Even the self order kiosks had receipt paper in them which is a McDonald’s rarity! There was a nice lady coming around to check on dine-in guests and wish you a happy day! The majority of tables have grounded electrical outlet for charging up your on the go devices. The smoothie machine was in a cleaning process so the friendly manager offered me a refund as well as an alternative choice including a milkshake which was awesome. The employees here seem in great spirits. The food all came out correctly and tasted fresh. The flower vases on each table are a very nice touch. It is great that there is a napkin dispenser out for self service unlike at other McDonald’s where you have to beg for more napkins. It has an open kitchen concept so you can see everything being made.
Only minor flaws: The ketchup from the dispenser was extra foamy. The tray was missing silverware upon delivery and there are none out on the self serve bar so you have to request silverware to eat your breakfast platter eggs with. The associates appear to be in need of some fresh professional uniform apparel but maybe they like it that way since they are all smiling looking comfy in untucked tshirts and temporary pen marked nametags.
My suggestion to corporate McDonald’s is to take a cue from the Starbucks mobile ordering app that has the capability to mark an item as out of stock/out of order to prevent customer from placing orders for items that the store already knows are out of service and implement that in the McDonald’s self service kiosks and mobile...
