okay, so I’m usually not the type to get on and review any place because I know places can have their good or bad days. but I’m 38 weeks pregnant, literally about to pop, so my patience is very thin these days. I pull up to the speaker and I see they’re outta the tenders, the automated speaker greets me and asks about ordering on the app, I say no, but say to give me one minute so I can decide on something else to get. no one says a word so I assume I’m good, after I decide what I want I start ordering like any one would. A minute passes and no one says anything, 4 more minutes go by and someone finally goes “can I take your order?”, so I restart my order, I ask for my meal and ask them to upsize to a large because I felt I could eat that right now, we get to the drink part and I go “can I have a cherry sprite?”, the woman just goes “were outta sprite.”, so I say, “okay then, can I have an orange cream soda then please?”, she SCOFFS and says “you mean a Fanta???”, so I go “no. a Dave’s orange cream soda.”, and then have to ask her to upsize the meal yet again because she was paying me no mind whatsoever. I expect her to give me my total and ask me to pull up to the window, all she says is “pull up for me”, so I do, I get to the window to pay and she immediately sticks her hand out the window with my drink and says absolutely nothing about the total, I just brush it off because I figure it’ll say it on my receipt and that I know I spent less than $20, I get my food and change, look in the bag and still no receipt. now, I understand if the receipt machine was broken and being fixed, I worked at a Wendy’s for 3 years and know how it is, but there’s should be signs or something posted or someone letting people know, and the woman in her 40’s with the glasses acting like she hates her job should NOT be in the window if she can’t provide good service. still don’t know how much I paid, smh. sincerely, a semi-pissed off...
Read moreAt first, I thought I was trippin. I just got back from a reunion on the west coast and a 5 hour delayed layover, I'm clearly tired after not getting in my bed until 6am. So I went to check the other recent reviews to see if I was alone.
First of all, I pulled up and was 2 cars from the speaker. Proceeded to wait 15 minutes to order and get my food. Once I get it, I taste my fries to eat then first before they get cold. I pull back by the window as no one was between the car at the window and the speaker (as I've done before at other fast food restaurants) and get to window and tell the young woman my fries are cold. She says "ok, but don't jump the line like that, I could've given you the wrong food). I said," ma'am I have a screaming hungry baby in here and I clearly stated why I came back in line. She says ok, walks away, brings back some more fries and asks if there ok before I even get them from her. They look like the same dry, greasy ones I just had, I taste it and they're lukewarm. I tell her it's still cold. She says there's no way, they just came out. I said, well not the one I just had (I pulled from the top). So she goes and tells the cool, this guy comes up and says they're fresh, I said well, taste the ones up top...he walks away before I finish my sentence, comes back and practically throws a bag thru the window. I taste it and say, "now this is hot."He replies "it's the same fries, I tried to say they weren't the same temp but he slammed the door in my face. What a jerk, man. Completely uncalled for.
All fast food restaurants sell overpriced food now, the least yal can do is make sure it's hot and fresh. My goodness, and have some decent customer service. Is that too much to ask for?
I type this as I'm feeding my baby in the Walmart parking lot. Avoid if you...
Read moreStopped here on a long distance trip. It was after dinner rush (probably close to 8:00PM) Of course, made a trip to the restroom first thing. The room was so dirty, there is no way it was just "dirty from a busy dinner rush". This room has not been cleaned a long time. Also, no paper towels. Electric hand dryer on the wall also does not work. Strike One.
On my way from the restroom to the food line, I passed a table with a Wendy's employee sitting down for his break. He had a Frosty and took a bite. He stopped and said "This doesn't taste right..." I know that the Frosty comes in a bag and you pour it into the machine. There is no way to mess that up - unless you are not cleaning out the machine. After seeing the bathroom, I'm pretty sure there is no cleaning going on in this store. Strike Two.
Reaching the food line, I see the manager in a loud argument with one of the employees. The manager is screaming "I'm going to write you up. blah blah blah". In front of customers. I've seen enough. Strike Three.
We left without eating. No way I was going to trust this place to feed me. They do not have their act together at all. I hope the owner of the store gets to see this review. If I were the owner, I would fire the manager and start over.
In summary - avoid this place...
