If you asked me a couple years ago when they had two people working breakfast (one cooking one packing and taking orders) I would have maybe gave 3.5 stars. The people struggling on those mornings were at least extremely friendly and explained everything but also made food I wanted to eat lol. I waited for steak bagels to come back for years and finally got my boyfriend to try one from this location. We both threw them away as it was literally layers of salt on a bagel. The location I use next to my work has never given me bad food or treated me like they're in the building to wrap grease up and toss the bag at you then get mad that THEY ruined the order. I was even treated like a nuisance when I placed curbside and arrived on time to wait 15 more minutes because they didn't have Oreos for a mcflurry, which I politely said m&M's will be fine. The food was cold when it finally came to my car but I already felt like I shouldn't say more without causing conflict. I brought my boyfriend the same breakfast meal from the other location and even after driving 20 minutes with the food he understood what a good steak bagel was lol. Get it together or give the two people back. Or give your employees an attitude and quality of service training. Good grief.
Came back to share a recent PSA on a local page about someone using a spare credit card machine after theirs "wouldn't work". Also went back the other day for curbside forgetting about this experience and sat for 20 minutes watching people walk in order on the self serve and leave with food, a couple people go through the drive through and told to pull ahead and brought their food. The employee walking their food out kept looking at me and the other customer parked in curbside so I gave her a šš»šš»š«“š». The employee proceeded to look at us and smoke her vape before going back inside. 5 minutes later she came out claiming our orders were never received even though we had both paid already and had to take our orders manually. Got my food within 3 minutes after that. š My question is if you have people walking in and out and going through the drive thru within 5 minutes AND I CAN SEE PEOPLE BEHIND THE COUNTER LOOKING AT US CURBSIDE. Why did it take 20 minutes for anyone to come explain their system wasn't working. I dialed the customer service line while waiting so once someone came out they could explain their reasoning for ignoring us but it was Sunday and customer service wasn't available. This location would get 5 stars if I could rate how horrible it is. By the way their ice cream machine DOES WORK but all you get is a cup of vanilla ice cream and whatever topping you choose spilling out the top all over your car. Don't you dare ask them to make it an actual mcflurry lol This Oreo mcflurry was secure but I lost almost all the Oreos as it was handed to me and by the time I got home my passenger seat was trashed. So like I said we paid for a cup of vanilla ice cream which we once again threw away. Picture was taken after I tried to scrape as much as I could into a bag
EDIT again: idk why I keep doing this to myself. Tell me where a single onion is on an extra onion burger. also a single pickle slice is very sad. So sad that get a McDonald's craving close to home and I'm let down Everytime. Thank you for the "one pickle ketchup and cheese burger" whoever made that should have questioned it and double checked the ticket. Seriously check...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came through the drive through and ordered a chicken Big Mac. When I parked I found out it was a regular Big Mac in the box. So I came through the drive thru again and explained the error. I was apologized to and given a new bag, presumably with a chicken Big Mac in it. When I parked, I opened the box, and it was another regular Big Mac. This time, instead of going through the drive through I walked in. I asked for the manager and was told I was talking to him. I explained I had received another regular Big Mac. I said I dont know how that can even happen. At that time an employee came in from the lobby with a bag and said, just give her this. I said what is that? He said someone in the dining room said he didn't have time to eat this. I said, Im not taking that one. I will wait to have one freshly made. Im not taking one from your dining room. I pointed out where my car was and said Id be in that car when it was done. When I turned to leave, I heard one of the employees say I bet she voted for Trump! And then everyone laughed. I had indeed just voted and was wearing my I voted sticker. I slowly turned around and said, what did you say? One of them said we were talking about thanksgiving. I said no you werent you said I bet she voted for Trump. Another employee said well, is there something wrong with that? What if I was talking about voting? Thats when I decided I was done giving my time and money to this restaurant and I left. In my opinion this McDonalds should be leveled and re-built from the top. This was not the first very negative experience Ive had here, but it was convenient, so I went back. It is the closest to my home, but I will NEVER visit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI waited over an hour for food. Placed my order at the counter at 2:30 PM and didn't leave until after 3:30 PM with my bags in hand. Waited 20 minutes for a drink cup and another 10 minutes for them to fill it behind the counter because the tea carafe was out. I received a free large drink for the trouble ($.99 normally), but not so much as an apology, just the manager saying, "Don't view this as a typical experience for this location." When I replied that my wait was an hour, I got a shrug and a, "It's not normally this bad."
I overheard that same manager reminding the food prep staff to remember to look at the counter monitor and not just the drive-thru monitor when fufilling orders. My wait was so long I actively turned customers away at the door by showing them my receipt and that I had no food, and how some people had still been waiting there before me.
At one point, they took my receipt because they didn't have a record of my order any longer. I special ordered a couple things, and they came out wrong, so there was additional wait time for some corrections.
The store was also very dirty, and employees could be heard complaining about staff not showing up that afternoon, and negotiating schedules as well.
I can no longer trust that McDonald's can provide me "fast food" service any longer because of my wait time here, and potentially will never visit the franchise again because of this situatuon. Had they not already taking my money, and had I not been buying food for another person too, or had I been just stopping in on a lunch break at work, I would have left...
