On March 16th I went to this location to order an acai bowl. There was a lady waiting for her order. I placed my order and began to wait. The lady that was waiting for her order abruptly yelled out, " No, you didn't!" She said he just ate a piece of food off of my sandwich! There was another lady waiting for her order as well and she witnessed this also. She and the lady whose order it was began discussing what they observed. The young man had eaten a piece of food off of her sandwich as he was preparing it. The young man quickly went to the back out of the view. The other staff quickly went to the back out of view. The young lady that was taking orders was attempting to honor the customer 's request of giving her a refund. She was obviously dissatisfied with their service. The young lady stated that she was not able to give the refund because it was with a credit card. She said her manager would have to complete that request. She then went to the back with the rest of the staff. The young teens stayed in the back for approximately two minutes. The young lady who was serving as manager came out and walked to the register and just stood there in silence looking at the lady. The lady then said give me my money back. The staff person said I don't know that I am aware of what is going on. Obviously frustrated, the customer stated you know what is going on now give me my money back! The young lady gave her her money and the lady walked out. I was equally disappointed and requested a refund for my purchase as I was not going to support an establishment with such unsanitary practices. This other lady waiting also received a refund. The workers seemed to be very young as exhibited by their immature interactions with each other and not to mention this young man's decision to make such a bad choice in plain sight of the customer. The customer was clearly observing him as he prepared her order so I am sure he knew she was watching him. He clearly did not have self-control. Reading the other reviews, it seems as if this location needs to rethink their practices and staff selection. I will never step foot in this location again. Management responses are so nonchalant and scripted that it screams inexperienced, unconcerned and dismissive. Suggesting someone go to their website and provide details for what you have already read is unbelievable!! This mindset does not foster an environment for improvement. I’m thirsty so we stop at the tropical smoothie excited for smoothies on this beautiful day. There were no cars in drive thru so we were excited in hopes it would get done so we could spend time in the pool and soak up the sun. Well instead we spent over 30 minutes just to have this experience!; When we entered the drive thru we were immediately asked to wait. That’s fine I understand maybe they had another customer to get. After coming back I asked what flavors they’d recommend and have been popular. The man began to complain and rush me because he expressed this by saying “i don’t know way to put me on the spot” I went ahead and ordered the two limited mango drinks. We were told to pull through. we sat at the window for a minimum of 15 minutes. Which we saw nobody at the register up front at this time and at least two employees walking around. (Of which time we assumed they were making our smoothies before taking payment. WORNG) After 15 minutes we were told our total of over $15!!! For 2 24 oz smoothies! We waited ANOTHER 15 minutes at which time 2 cars were behind us and 2 people at the front register just to have our smoothies shoved through the window at us and the window closed and not a word being spoken to us by the employee. So I just had the worst tropical smoothie experience. If not the worst drive thru experience. If not the worst customer, server experience in my 27 years of life! Read moreThis tropical smoothie is probably the worst I’ve been to, if you plan on going here ALWAYS check your food before leaving. Every-time I order on the app they find some way of messing my order up. I mobile order and have it delivered to my work, many times my order has been missing something or my wrap was made wrong wether it’s missing items or items I deleted off of my order and they continued to put it on my wrap. One time specifically I ordered a wrap with no beans and no avocado, extra rice and extra chicken. When I received my wrap there was extra beans and avocado, NO RICE and maybe 4 pieces of chicken. Remember I mobile ordered, they had my phone number and my email and never contacted me. Their excuse was that the late staff did not make the rice or my side which was the kale and apple salad but there was no excuse on why they never contacted me. Just poor customer service. This has happened MULTIPLE times. It’s almost as they are afraid to tell you if your order is missing something. I get it your young, but man up and tell your customer because guarantee they will appreciate you telling them instead of having your customer make a trip back. It probably also dosent help that whoever built this one probably shouldn’t have put the speaker right next to 28th street, I feel weird screaming my order maybe that’s why they sometimes get my order wrong.
