First time ever coming here when visiting Kernersville! The waitresses are super kind, charmful, and bubbly and even have super good humor. Our waitress Riley is super fun to talk to and the most sweetest calmest girl ever. I'd definitely recommend starting a small conversation with her if she's available to. Super nice girl!
The atmosphere is super clean and very peaceful. The temperature is really cozy in here with a nice breeze hitting you. Cute Italian decor everywhere and very nice hand painted creations hanging up on the walls. Everything just feels so nice and fancy.
The food is alright they most definitely have really good pizza, and a lot of things here are handmade, the bread, the sauce, ect, most of the food. Everything just tastes so fresh and delicious piping hot when it comes out. The Stromboli is really delicious too and is packed full of a lot of cheese. The pepperoni was soggy, but they still tasted good. The salad they gave a lot of tomatoes and olives, which is good. Not a lot of places serve a bunch of tomatoes in salads like they do here. The bread was okay and could be better, but it was freshly handmade and had seasoning added on top to it. The chicken parmesan tastes just like Elizabeth's chicken was just cut in a different style, which I preferably am not used to, but I didn't mind at all. They offer you to go to drinks and take out boxes, everything you need, etc. The calamari is super soft and just melts in your mouth without even needing to try to chew it, and they gave so much lemon on the side to put on top of it.
This place is good. I would come again, especially with how sweet all the workers are you feel like you are at home. The prices are average and cheaper than Elizabeth's, so...
Read moreWe're new to the area and let me tell you, I'm happy this place is down the street. We stopped in to try it and it was delicious. I mean, omg delicious. Hubby tried the calamari and he said it was good. "Good" is a compliment for him. I got the pasta soup and it was creamy, hot and the flavor was on point when the yummy bread they serve was dipped in it. My husband got Marsala and he said it was more buttery and sweet than any he'd tried before and he liked it. I got the chicken parmesan with a side of Alfredo so I could try that and make a pink sauce to try, I was full and I needed a box and a little piece of me cried when I realized after eating just half my chicken, that I'd actually only eaten 1/4 because there was another one under the perfectly cooked spaghetti and I could eat this for the next 2 days. I did eat it for the next 2 days and then ordered the chicken parm for lunch a couple days ago. I work from home and food doesn't usually make it piping hot. This did. It needed to cool down. So props to them for packaging it great (and to the Slice driver for...
Read moreWe used to eat at Amalfis, often years ago. The food was always good, as was our dining experience.
This past Thursday evening, we had dinner at Amalfies for the first time in years.
It had the same familiar atmosphere we remembered. We had a very good server. She was friendly and had spot on timing.
The food, however, was a lot better than we remembered. I had the smoked chicken ravioli, which was excellent . I used to get this dish regularly when we used to visit. There was just a little something different it seemed this time that made it better! My wife got the special, which was a short rib ravioli, which also was very good. Our son got the Stromboli, which he gave a huge thumbs up. In the beginning, we were given complementary bread with dipping oil. The bread was fresh and hot. We got calamari for our appetizer, which I must say is the best we've had anywhere.
If you are in the mood for good authentic Italian food, I strongly recommend giving...
