Wanted to try a locally owned coffee shop in kville. Have always driven by this location, and we finally decided to give it a try. First off atmosphere is awesome, it is in what seems to be a cozy house converted to coffee shop. Very cozy, neatly decorated and atmosphere is nice and relaxing. There is ample amount of parking behind the house on a gravel lot. The staff on the two occasions that we have went were very friendly. They gave us a rewards card, so each visit goes towards getting a free coffee after certain amount of visits. Very nice. And letās get to business, the two different occasions we tried their iced matcha blends one with hibiscus, which was very very tasty. And next time we just tried plain matcha with almond milk and it too tasty great. Way better than a certain coffee chain that we all know. Also tried and banilla iced coffee latte today and it was too equally amazing. Glad to help support local business and will revisit this location to try...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām going to sound obsessed but here we go š I am not too picky about where I get my coffee, as long as I get some caffeine in me for a decent price I am happy. BUT this is the only coffee shop I go to when I am in NC, because seriously no other places are close in comparison.
Ambiance: 10/10 - calm & quaint (real local Kernersville vibe with their wooden floors & decor, mixed with coffee aroma filling the entire shop) Coffee / Espresso Quality: 10/10 - Dirty Chai Tea Lattes are hard to make with the flavour mix, and they nail it every time (Some of the best Iāve had) - Espresso is flavourful and very well brewed (literally keeps me going all day) Service: 10/10 - Fast, Friendly, Calm employees
** Lastly, you have to try their Prana Bars!! I crave these constantly & am pretty sure theyāre locally made. If you try them and love them, just make sure thereās still one left for me when I get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSuch a quaint coffee shop! Really great atmosphere, dogs allowed inside, & snacks are kept in stock. Coffee is good, lots of options. Staff are either friendly or non-social but never rude/mean. Multiple sitting rooms available, local vendor items for sale, and we meet new friends every time we come! SUPPORT LOCAL!!
My #1 Complaint: THE DRIVEWAY & PARKINGLOT: My car nearly bottoms out every time I pull in and go from pavement to gravel as most of the gravel has been washed away. If it's raining, we avoid coming at all because the entire parking area is pure mud & the walk up to the entrance is steep and slippery. Very few designated parking spots, so everyone parks how they want to the point that getting in/out can become very frustrating. You can park across the street and walk over, but depending on the time of day/week, trafgic can be heavy or the lot...
