Hey owner! It's 8/12/2025 your reviews are still horrific! Give me a call ! People are literally begging you to close this joint!I pulled in at 5:35 p.m.. Went inside and ordered a "fresh" country ham biscuit. I noticed close to 6 or more employees all gathered to my left. Laughing, talking loudly. They seemed to be having a great time socializing doing absolutely nothing.Note not one customer in the drive thru or inside but me. After ordering I went to the restroom and was back in about 3 minutes. I stood at the now deserted counter not anyone in sight. Finally I said high enough voice to hear at a distance "hello" anyone around?. Then a employee later when asked his name "Steve" says he's shift manager walked up and retrieved a bagged biscuit from the opposite counter and handed it to me. I walked to the area that held the straws and napkins and opened up the wrapped ham biscuit. The biscuit was warm. The ham was unacceptable to say the least. Rock hard crunchy to the bite "brittle". The surrounding fat that should of been translucent if cooked correctly was dark brown. Obviously not fresh and not cooked on a grill. I returned to the counter and advised "Steve" he could refund my money. He agreed and asked no questions. Made no apology or inquired as to why I was displeased. So I volunteered as to why. His response was as follows: "Yea I told them to drop a piece we had in the fryer. So that's why it was like it was. I told him that fresh meant fresh. So you had them cook a old piece of ham again? He said "yea". His answer still stuns me. He stated "The grill was too dirty to cook on" I said are you kidding? I stated man you use a scrape on the grill only takes a minute. Then you can cook on it. His answer "No we can't do that we detail clean after 9" I said really? You do realize it's a long way from 9. Even though you don't look like it no food in metal trays,no customers you are open right? He said "yea we open til 10" I had traveled all along highway 66 I passed McDonald's, Dario, Clark's BBQ and many other "BUSY" restaurants in route to a deserted Bojangles. I now understand why. This is a great location for a restaurant. Any interested party take note Bojangles existence here has to be nearing the end. One final note. "Steve" asked and received my receipt. Gave it back, then asked for it again! I realized he didn't handle the refund correctly but I was already home. You see the total was like $3.52 I believe. I had paid with a $10 bill. So he would owe me like $6.50ish change initially. I did receive my change. He refunded a $10 bill after receiving my order. I had already previously received my change from the $10. I took my money back was offered no remedy or apology from Steve when I asked the store Manager's name he said "Its on the dough" I think he meant "Door" I welcome owner contact! Wow what a disappointment! Oh and a quick word of advice to ownership from a man that was a fast food manager while in High school over 45 years ago. One you better get a hold on some one running this place. 6 employees doing nothing? Plus all other operational cost. It would be more cost effective to be closed early than pay numerous folks to stand around doing nothing. You have to know my experience was horrible and that would only drive customers away. Check your receipts/business against costs to operate specifically labor from say 5 to close. You got to be losing money these kids aren't even trained. The cashier that initially took my order responded to my inquiry as to no business as follows: "Yea man I love it, that's why I work here we do nothing and still get paid" While smiling...
Read moreI ordered 2, 3 piece drums and 1, 5 piece supreme with a large Bo-round. Now I didn’t have an issue waiting for the food. It said I would have a five minute wait for the hashbrowns. I get to the window and there’s a black teen who sees me, keeps glancing at me. Didn’t take my money at all. I sat there for about 5 minutes waiting for my money to be taken. Which is fine. I don’t mind waiting, it’s just that I was also the ONLY one in the drive thru at that time. So take my money! Then a Hispanic teen comes from the lobby, where she was on her PHONE might I add. She then gives me food I didn’t even pay for yet. I told her I didn’t pay yet and gave her the card. She then handed me back my card says “Have a good day” in a snarky tone. I asked “is this all.” She doesn’t answer me, all she does is slam the window in my face. I then ask “is this all” three more times. Never opened the window at all so I left. Pulled in right next to the Bojangles. Checked to see if the food was all there, it was not. I then had to go back around the Bojangles drive thru. It was late at night so I couldn’t just go in. Now there were 4 cars I had to wait on. So I waited another 15 to 20 minutes just to get the food. After I already asked an additional three times if it was all there. I go to the window told her I didn’t get all of my food. The Hispanic teen looks at me dumbfounded. Turns to the black teen asked her about it. Asked for my receipt. I showed her, told her “I was here a while ago, I know you remember me.” they look at me and give me the nastiest look. I told them “I asked multiple times if all my food was there and all I got was a window slammed in my face.” I got tired of being nice about it. They proceeded to shut the window to talk and giggle. Look back at me laugh and point some more. I made a mocking talk hand gesture because I wanted to let them know I can HEAR them. They gave me a nasty look and went back to pointing and glaring. I then turned to my passenger and said “it’s very RUDE for them to be laughing and talking shit about the customer when the customer is right here.” What they did was highly unprofessional and rude. I used to work in the food industry. You do NOT talk poorly about the customer when they’re right at the window, you do NOT giggle or laugh about the customer when the customer is at the window. All I wanted was my food instead I got poor service from the teenagers at the window. I will NOT ever go to that store ever again. I have been there 3 times and every time I have gone there they get my order wrong and they’re EXTREMELY rude. Three strikes and you’re out. I know its like “Oh it’s one customer who cares” but if they’re doing to me, then they’re DEFINITELY doing to other customers. Poor service drives customers away. The only nice person I have ever interacted with at that store is a heavyset white lady who does just about EVERYTHING. Every time I go there barely anyone is doing their job but her. People on their phones in the lobby, people leaning around, talking instead of working. She runs around and does everything while the RUDE employees sit on their butts.
If i could put 0 stars I would, but...
Read moreThis review is directed to the franchise owners. I also work in the service industry. I am very aware of the labor shortage. The entire staff at this location needs to go through retraining. I honestly do not know how there is still an “A” for sanitation grade at this location. I have gone to this location since it was built in the early 80s and revisited recently after moving back to the area. When I arrived at the restaurant, the drive-through line was to the road. It seems to be Bojangles standard policy not to send delayed orders to a parking spot to continue the line moving. So I opted to go inside. My order was only a country ham biscuit and a Cajun fillet biscuit. This is a simple order and both should be considered staples on the menu. After waiting 30 minutes inside customers started receiving their orders that were two and three positions behind me in line. At this point, I knew I just needed to get a refund and leave. After standing in your dining room, I lost my appetite anyway. While the manager was processing my cash refund, I explained to her why I wanted the refund and have no plans on returning. Her reply was we are shorthanded. Of the staff I could see from the front counter there were eight people working and I’m sure more behind the production wall. It seems to me there were an abundance of staff however, the entire staff did not seem to really care what needed to be done or how to do it. I wanted to direct this directly to the franchise owner because every other customer that was in the dining room waiting for food was also frustrated. While we were there, we also noticed two cars back out of the drive-through from well behind the building.
Just some food for...
