Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Kernersville

OVER THE TOP MAD ! Called at 12:02 - 58 minutes before they “close” and placed. Delivery order (which I order 2-3 times a week ) I live walking distance away- Placed my order with a team member on the phone - mind you I’m a consistent customer , Placed my order and by 12:07 I was off the phone, the lady who took my order quoted me 23/27 minutes . I called at 1:05 to check on my delivery status and every time I called (5 times) I was hung up on . They picked up phone and then hung up as soon as I started speaking .! I will not spend my money here again or refer any one to this papa John’s . DOMINOS WOULD NEVER DO THIS TO A LOYAL CUSTOMER (and I know because I spend time and money with dominos just as much as I do papa John’s ) but dominos was closed when I went to order pizza tonight so I had to settle for papa John’s and I regret doing so !!!!! I will not ever give them my money again ! They have no proper customer service, and clearly just want to clock out instead of following through with fulfilled orders … so I won’t ever come back to this location nor will I refer any of my business partners to this location in kernersville. First off, the manager named Dakota needs to be fired immediately. His behavior on 3/9/2022 at 10:23pm was customer abuse based on my many years of management experience. I placed an order online and used the last monies I had to pay for the order as I was getting paid the next day. I called to ensure that a customization was being done and was hung up on after someone answered the phone “We are closed” and then hanging up the phone. I kept calling back because I already placed my order and wasn’t placing one over the phone. I finally yelled on the 5th call to get his attention and did as he was about to say the same thing and he then said that the order will not be made and that I will have to take it up with the general manager the next day as it is not his problem. Used to order from this location almost weekly. It’s the only pizza the whole family can agree on, so it’s our go-to for pizza and a movie night with the kids. Always had it delivered no problem, until over the past few months (8/29 was our first experience with this). The first time we had an issue, they had door dash deliver it and it took so long, after an hour+ I got an email from Papa John’s with a coupon to use on our next order, apologizing for the delay before the pizza even got delivered. Tried again on another date and the same exact thing happened, etc. Today is probably the 4th or 5th time we’ve tried to order delivery instead of pick up, and again it’s door dash delivering the food. I was hoping they were just using them for a short while. You don’t know who is delivering until AFTER you place your order. I guess if we want Papa John’s we will have to pick up from the restaurant from now on, because their delivery is awful since switching...
