05.2025: I recently had the pleasure of visiting and I can confidently say that my experience far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly worker who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere of the office was inviting and calming, which immediately put me at ease, especially since I was a bit anxious about my eye exam.
The friendly demeanor puts you at ease instantly, and the team takes the time to genuinely listen to your concerns. During the examination, the doctor was incredibly attentive, explaining each step of the process in detail. This level of care not only made me feel valued as a patient, but it also demonstrated the commitment to ensuring that I fully understood my eye health.
What really impressed me was Crystal and Iris’s determination to provide the best possible care. Read moreThe staff was very nice; however I cannot attest to the accuracy of their exams. I was quite surprised to have my eye exam done virtually but was willing to give it a try. When I received my new glasses my prescription was incorrect. They placed my distance on the lower half of my progressive lens and my reading was on the top part of my lens. Resent my glasses back to be corrected only to receive them back and the prescription still was not correct. I asked that they refund my money and reverse my claim out so that I may use my benefits and was promised that they would do so. I then made a new eye appointment which I had to wait a month for. When I got to my new appointment I was told I didn't have benefits because my Eyelab had not reversed the benefits back. I called the Kernersville location and was told that this was something that corporate needed to do. I called corporate and they advised that the Kernersville location needed to initiate this process. I called back to the Kernersville location and once again was referred back to corporate. I was then told by corporate that they would need to create a ticket to reverse my claims out. I have had to reschedule my appointment with my new eye provider with the earliest appointment a month away. So here we are 6 weeks later and I need to wait another month just to be seen. MY EYELAB HAS NOT ONLY PROVIDED HORRIBLE SERVICE, but has WASTED MY TIME getting this done. Fingers crossed that they actually do reverse these claims within the 24-48 hrs promised me! ...
Read moreI am give this business a 2. NOT because of the staff. They were wonderful! But if you have any special problems with your eyes or you prefer to have dilation as part of your exam do not go here.
The bad came in with the virtual portion of the exam. I had glasses with me they were not read. So when the refraction numbers were put in it was as if I didn’t have glasses at all. Well apparently those numbers made it seem like I didn’t need glasses at all. BUT the whole 1 or 2 portion my right eye was NEVER clear always 100% blurry can’t read it. My left eye did end up getting clear. Which I already know my left is my better eye and it works super hard to help my right. I told them this and the video person never commented on it. She was a robot. When I said it was blurry it was like she didn’t know what to do bend because the auto refraction numbers apparently all said I didn’t need a glasses Rx at all so she didn’t even give me one. I know for a fact I need glasses. And the glasses I have are causing issues. I asked if they did dilation like the website said and they said no becawhe they don’t have in office techs to assist with that. I am apparently part of a small percentage of people who NEED dilation to get a correct refraction. My eyes have to be forced to relax.
