Ketchikan's Gold Pan Pizza — Restaurant in Ketchikan

I don’t think I’ve ever had worse service. We work on a fishing boat and we were in town for the night so we walked in at 6:30pm to order 4 pizzas ($100) and was told they would be closing soon (hours posted 8pm) The guy working seemed irritated that we came in at all. We put in our order and were told it could be 40 minuets or more….okay sure then he said “I hope I don’t mess them up” that was not reassuring at all. During this time the phone was ringing and he sighed loudly and said “I’m about to just unplug the phone” Before he could walk back to the kitchen another customer walked in and tried to order a pizza to which he told her that “They close in like an hour and there were 4 pizzas ahead of her so she should just come back tomorrow” He then offered to sell her a few slices from the hot case but then added that he “wouldn’t recommend it” as they were old pizzas. At the point I’d heard enough and asked to cancel the order. That was the happiest he was the whole interaction. The whole encounter was just bizarre. Either the management is unaware or this business is run by people who do not care about repeat business…or any business at all. We left and went to Eagles Nest and had a wonderful meal with excellent service. We are here every summer and I guarantee I will never be back: I noticed the cameras so if the business owner wants to use this as an opportunity for additional training they can see this horrendous interaction for themselves but honestly get the feeling...

If this review app would allow me to give a zero rating, I would. I'm only giving a 1 because the app forces me to choose a rating, but this business deserves less than zero. This business is wholly unprofessional and left me stranded at lunch time without lunch for a 25-person professional lunch event. I was completely humiliated. I ordered AND paid for pizza and delivery the day prior. I tried to call the restaurant multiple times the morning of the event to confirm the order and delivery, but nobody answered the phone. Finally, I drove to the restaurant when the delivery was 1/2 an hour overdue only to find the restaurant closed. I was told by a staff person on-site that Todd "the boss" cancelled my order when another staff person hadn't shown up for work, leaving them short-staffed. What business does such a thing?! Just simply cancelling an order that people were counting on because they were short-staffed. And cancelling it within an hour of it's expected delivery time! They could have called to make a late delivery, but they just cancelled without any communication. Any phone call to me at any time that morning would have given me the opportunity to make other arrangements, but no one ever contacted me. Also, I've since learned that this has happened to other people. I will NEVER order from this place again and urge you to not support this unprofessional establishment. This is an appalling...

Not even 1 star!! Just went in at 7pm, 3 adults, 2 boys. We were told 1 hour was not enough time to make us pizza??? What?? Okay, when I walked in the young employee was sitting at a table, looked up, and acted like I interrupted his break or show. I told him there was 5 of us, and being my first time, asked for a menu. He pointed to a board and said that was the menu. I said okay. He then told me they closed soon. I asked, "8pm right?" He replied, "Yes, 8pm, but that was not enough time to have pizza's for 5 people." "Really, you would not stay till 8:05, 8:10, for customer's?" was my response. He looked at me like, no way lady, I have better things to do. But he would not respond. So, I said, "Thank you, but we will not be eating here now." I went to leave, and the rest of my family was getting ready to walk in. That is when I informed them, 1 hour was not enough time for us! For a pizza place, to not know it takes 20+mins to make a pizza is crazy. Now we are forced to eat Godfathers across the street! Which is awesome, friendly, and we were out in less...
