The entire experience was incredible for my family and me. The hovercraft itself is an impressive machine, moving smoothly over water and onto land. The driver and guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We saw amazing views of the strait near Ketchikan, and landed on Black Sands Beach, where we saw some of the most diverse plant life (bulb kelp, popper kelp) and wildlife (bald eagles, falcons, starfish, moon snails) we’ve ever seen. More importantly, the captain and the tour guide (Connor) did a great job to show us bald eagles and other wild life, including an upended root tree system that was blown on its 'side' by frequent 100 mph winds. Intimate group of 10 guests with a pilot and narrator/naturalist. Free snacks on board are a nice touch. We saw lots of eagles and stopped at a black sand beach.
