Ketchikan Helicopter — Attraction in Ketchikan

What a poor operation these folks run. I spend over a grand for my family and I to take a 2 hour seaplane ride for the sole purpose of seeing bears. Nothing. Now while this is certainly understandable, given nature is not predicable, the stupidity exhibited was not. Another pilot for the SAME Tour Company was at the same time touring another family in the same area. When we got back (landed at same time) the other family was shocked that we didn't see anything and then showed us video of their awesome experience. When I asked the staff why the pilot/tour guide that did see bears didn't bother to tell our pilot who was looking all over, the response was "we don't guarantee bear sightings." Apparently they don't guarantee common sense either. Why would one pilot who works for the same company not tell the other one, "hey just FYI, may want to check...
