We ordered 3 subs, a 2 liter and a large cheese pizza on fathers day at around 6pm. An hour later, it arrived. Luckily I mentioned the 2 liter to the driver because he forgot it in his truck.

we opened the food. The two ham subs were great. The steak sub became a ham sub with marinara. The pizza was burnt black, cold and looked like it sat around for a while.

We called and talked to a lady. She had them send out a remake for the sub and pizza. 8pm the next batch of food arrived.

This time the steak sub looked good. The pizza was still overcooked but luckily not as hard as a cracker. We tried to eat it but the cheese had a burnt taste and their secret ingredient, a salted crust, was missing. We decided to just go ahead and call it in.

we spoke to the same lady who replaced our meal earlier. She was extremely nice. She asked if we wanted another sent out or a credit. It was getting late so we chose the credit. She spoke to her manager and the manager decided to give us a $7 credit. I asked how they came up with that amount. She said usually they only give a 25÷ credit but since they had to come out twice, theyd give us 50÷. Gee, how nice of them.

Casanos used to be a great place for many decades. Now theyre just a beauracratic red tape corporation who doesnt even compete when it comes to customer satisfaction. The lady I spoke to was nice. The original order taker was untrained after two weeks, or so the excuse was used.

If you have a coupon, dont mind the wait, and want to eat in their dining area then it might be worth the try because their food is pretty good when cooked right. If youre looking to get a quick delivery done right or are wanting to try somewhere new, I dont recommend them. Id like to support them as a small business but theyve shown multiple times over the past few years that they just dont care. This is something I never expected out of a premium, family owned pizzeria.

Eat at your own risk. :) If the $7 credit magically disappears from their system Ill be sure to update my review...

Being new to the area, we wanted to try out local pizza options. I found the online ordering option to be easy and fast and the order was ready when we arrived to pick it up. unfortunately, the positive experience stopped there. We ordered a ham and green olive pizza, and their deluxe pizza. We also placed an order for breadsticks.

First the breadsticks: the menu states that thy are brushed with garlic spread and topped with Parmesan cheese. We opted for the lightly baked option as opposed to crispy. What we received didn’t appear to have any garlic spread on the breadsticks and definitely no cheese. The breadsticks didn’t appear to even be baked! They were doughy and lacked any real flavor. I had ordered extra garlic spread but none was present on the breadsticks or on the side. I am assuming they forgot to include in the order.

The pizzas were ‘blah’ at best. The crusts were chewy and had a cardboard texture. The crusts were salted on the bottom which overpowered any potential flavor in the crust. The sauce was very thin and had little is any flavor. The toppings on the deluxe were difficult to find. The ham and green olive apparently had olives (they could be seen) but the ham didn’t appear to be present. Both pizzas were very greasy.

I’ve had pizza in many locations around the country, and I would have to say these were the worst pizzas I have ordered. We couldn’t even finish the pizzas - discarding nearly half. Perhaps this order was a one off and not the typical quality for the restaurant - In that case I would honestly have to question their quality control. Bottom line - don’t waste your money - and certainly don’t assault your taste buds. I would have given them a lower rating if possible. My wife and I...

Haven’t ordered in 6 years because they seemed to frequently mess up our order. My 6 year old saw the heart shaped pie for Valentines Day, so we decided to take order. Unfortunately, our experience was just more of the same. We ordered a heart pie with half pepperoni and sausage and half only cheese, and also an Italian sub. Once we picked up and got home , we saw that we were given a mushroom pie. No worries, called and explained we got the wrong pizza and explained that we would like the whole order replaced since the sub would now be cold. We didn’t eat anything and returned the entire order for replacement. On arrival to pick up replacement, pizza was done, then given the same sub back. I explained that she would like the sub remade and waited. 15 minutes went by and no one was working front counter. The nice lady from the back said my order would be right out, as she hustled out to give the order. I checked the pie the make sure it was correct and left. I returned home to find that they gave me back my original sub, after waiting 15 minutes extra for them to remake. Needless to say, it will be at least 6 years before we order again. The pizza was good but , not good enough to overcome the rest of the mess that...

Average Pizza this visit. I grew up loving Cassano's but was disappointed with our recent visit to Dayton in December 2020. We got two pizzas and one was good but the second one was overcooked. A disappointing Dayton restaurant experience for our family. My adult children felt we should have stayed with Marion's Pizza. I would highly recommend Marion's over Cassano's any day, expecially if you have limited time in Dayton.

This burnt, sad little 6" personal pizza is what now constitutes a Cassano's "Deluxe". It cost $10.95. Very sad - their Deluxe used to be my favorite pizza. Cassano's continued survival is surprising, given the increasing variety of actual good quality pizza in the area.

Pretty good pizza! Always nice to try a local place. The service is kind and friendly, pizza was out quickly. They do a lot of takeout and pickup, so this isn’t your standard sit down restaurant. We would eat here again, if we were in the area.
