I ordered 2 meals, one for myself and one for my son. Mine was the filet and his was the from the children's menu. Shortly after our food arrived my son, (5) needed to use the restroom. So I got up and took him and when I came back to our table they had taken all of our food away that we had barely even had a chance to touch. I complained to the server and all she had to say was "ok I'll go check" Shortly after emerged with our plates full of food that looked like they had been tampered with in the kitchen. I'm guessing the staff decided they were eating it, then they brought it back out. I complained and demanded fresh food and was told they couldn't do that. All I got were 2 gift certificates toward an appetizer on my next visit. I asked to see the manager and was told the manager was the one who issued the gift certificates. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORST MANAGEMENT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I ended up paying for the food, full price, not even a discount. Didn't even feel comfortable eating it and the whole ordeal upset my son and ruined what was supposed to be his birthday dinner. I AM a restaurant manager and have been for 10 years. I have worked in the service industry my entire life. YOU NEED NEW MANAGEMENT. I live in Key West. Have for 22 years. Never experienced anything so grotesquely inept. And I plan to tell the whole damn town and every person I meet about it. You need to be careful who you screw over in this town. Word...

When we were sat, we asked to sit in a in a both , but said there wasn’t any available, the place was not busy at all, but the next table that sat was seated in a booth next to us. My boyfriend ordered raspberry sweet iced tea. The first one came out water down and no raspberry. The second one couldn’t tell you what it was made with the third one came out and it was too much raspberry and not enough tea. I ordered the French onion soup which is very good and then the wedge salad with blue cheese and the salad look like it was 10 days old… I never complain when I go out to dinner. It had nothing to do with our server she was nice, butte BOH and the back servers should look at what they are sending out I’ve been in the business for 40 years, but when you get service like that from the kitchen sending out wilted lettuce and the oh and lemon wedge in my drink looked liked it has been mushed down and probably sitting in the fruit tray for days. I wasn’t gonna to complain, but I did!!! I did get compensated for the salad and for the drink. It’s just becoming ridiculous lately. When you go out to dinner you want a great experience, but people don’t know how to do their job properly anymore, how would they like mushed slimy fruit and wilted lettuce and then needing an insulin shot with over pouring the shot of...
Read moreAte Outback 3 of the two nights we were here, plus one lunch. Actually stayed at Key West two nights before heading to our camping destination of Dry Tortugas. Trying to keep the camping gear low so instead of grilling, we brought outback with us. Mmmm. I had Victorias’s filet all except for once then had the grilled salmon. It was excellent every time. Shout out to the young dark haired person running take out orders. You’re doing a fine job. Shout out to the manager in blue, another old school person who understands what customer service means. I appreciate you, sir. Thank you. Unfortunately, the first night we had a female server who it’s probably used to smattering by in life and doing very little. It carries over in your job performance. Bringing sugar requested twice in your hands instead of a bowl or other carrying dish, clearly seeing two empty glasses and never offering a refill, checking in but walking by too fast for an answer. You should consider a new line of work because you’re either not cut or for this or you’re just lazy and don’t want to be there. I think the latter so I want to give you this to think about. You and you alone pick your profession. You made the decision to be whatever it is you are. Don’t take it...
