Shouldn't offer your establishment on Uber or Door Dash due to long wait times. Ordered via door dash at 524pm food didn't get delivered until 659pm that's 1 hour and 35 mins. To make it worse, you don't allow the actual apps to use their people it must be your delivery person, so there's no tracking, so its an actual guess as to when the food shows up. I called the restaurant and someone picked up to let me know the delivery person left with our food and it shouldn't be much longer so I of course went somewhere more convenient for your driver since I'm on vacation and not local thought I'd be nice. To only realize that person had given me inaccurate information. So I ended up DRIVING myself which ISNT the point of DELIVERY service, ya know. 🙃 I arrived at your establishment and stood for several minutes before anyone asked me if I was being helped, which I wasn't. I asked about where my food was, voiced about being concerned my food would be cold since it was 1.5 hours old, etc..... I cooked for nearly a decade and I give alot of grace for all establishments. However, those who insist on doing things THEIR way, using THEIR drivers for all deliveries, feeding the dine in patrons FIRST, then making the DELIVERY orders, picking up the phone once then avoiding it EVERYTIME afterwards when the number comes up. Yall might want to reevaluate how you're doing things, I mean cut corners to save money fine........ but running really long ticket times is bad business. All of our food we ordered was extremely DRY, very dry, warm but dry and sure condiments/sauces exist but not to remoisten food it's to brighten flavor. Pizza was more bread and cheese barely any red sauce, gyro had lamb that was burnt, crispy and hard, falafel were so dry you couldn't breathe even chewing them, it was gritty cotton balls. Thanks but no thanks. Do yourself a favor and allow Uber and door dash to deliver YOUR food or just don't make your Cafe an option on those apps. I'd rather spent $80 on anything...
Read moreGreat place for a delicious meal. We discovered this place out of blue and thought to give it a shot and it was totally worth it. It's a multi-cuisine restaurant since they have Mediterranean, Italian, American, Cuban, Greek, Turkish etc. Huge variety to choose from.
Food: We went for a Mediterranean platter (which includes falafel, dolma, tatziki, & eggplant dip), Roasted Potatoes and a Garlic & Oil Pasta. They started us off with their house made sesame bread which was good. The Mediterranean platter was good overall. The falafel was okay but the dolma and eggplant dip was amazing. Roasted Potatoes were good - not too oily, very well seasoned and a great appetizer. What we particularly loved was the garlic & oil pasta. Excellent pasta, great taste - especially for garlic lovers like us. Must try!!
Ambiance: It had a very traditional restauranty ambiance. They have a bar on one end of the restaurant and a large hall with a bunch of four-seater tables. Nothing particularly unique about the ambiance - which I guess is what's unique about the ambiance when all restaurants try a lot of things to create a dining experience. This place strives through food and service.
Staff: Great folks. The gentleman attending us was nice and friendly. The service was quite timely. No issues there.
Overall, a great place to go if you are looking for some quality food...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem in Key West!! Today is our last day here and we were looking for a nice breakfast spot before heading to the airport. Tried a few of the common places like Blue Heaven, Banana Cafe, etc., but they were completely packed!l
So I pulled up the map and just started looking at random places and this place popped up. I saw some nice reviews and comments about the great quality and variety of food, so we decided to give it a shot. And man, are we glad we did!!
The Cuban coffee is AMAZING!! I had French toast and a side of potatoes and both were on point! The potatoes have this amazing spice on them that seems almost Moroccan. Whatever it was, they were delicious!! My fiancé had an “All the Way” omelet that was loaded with onions, peppers, mushrooms, bacon, ham, sausage and cheese, and the sausage tasted like it was homemade with another amazing spice blend.
If you want to try a place outside of the craziness of Old Town Key West that doesn’t necessarily have an island vibe, but that will really knock your socks off with awesome food and A+++ service, then check this place out!!! We will definitely return on future visits...
