La Tapatia — Restaurant in Killeen

I'm only give 2 stars because I go to La Tapatia just for the crispy pork. I don't mind paying a high price but please don't sell me the refried pork. I'm from Hawaii and everytime I visit Killeen which is a few time a year, my first stop is La Tapatia. My dogs won't even it eat. I went twice this week and I asked them if the pork is fresh and they said yes. But it really was a mixed of fresh and old fried pork. The first time was all refried and the second time was a mixture. Please don't detroy your food...

Best place in town to get Mexican products, always consistent in staff and keeping items in stock. Walking into this store/taqueria is like taking a small trip to Mexico. I love the homely feel, seeing the same workers and being able to buy Mexican pan dulce and Mexican sodas like Sidral Mundet. The taqueria section was pretty good the time we ate here. The tamales on weekends are great and fresh if you can get here before they are all gone. Gracias por tener sus tiendas que nos regalan un pedacito...

Absolutely amazing staff and prices. First time going out in such a long time and we love this place. We stopped going to the round rock location because it went down hill and gave this one a shot and it did not disappoint in any way!!! 10 out of 10 would go back everyday if we could!!! The waitress was also so very sweet and so welcoming! Very attentive and didn't mind all the questions or apologies 😅 AMAZING GREAT TASTING FOOD AND STAFF WITH GREAT PRICES!!!...
