This has gotta be a joke. I guess anybody can open a business nowadays. I’ve been dashing with DoorDash for two years now and no restaurant have I encountered makes you wait so long as this one does. Looking at all these five star reviews, all of them are talking about how good the food is, which my customers and I wouldn’t know since you have to get your food to taste it. Additionally, those five star reviews are likely all written by their family and friends seeing as they all say the same thing. This restaurant must pride itself on making its delivery drivers and customers wait 50 minutes or more for their orders. This restaurant has no business contracting Uber and DoorDash because they can’t even serve the people dining in. So how are they going to serve the delivery drivers? Mind you, there were four other waiting delivery drivers here, likely to never get their food. We are on a time limit and we can’t afford to wait an hour or more for each order. Here’s what’s worse: The truly disgraceful owner, the father of the little girl working in the front, didn’t even come out and apologize. He sent his young daughter to do all the explaining and telling us a few more minutes over and over again. And can you believe there’s only a young girl working in the front? I’m all for family-owned and locally-owned businesses, but I am not for child labor. There are labor laws put in place that prevent children like this little girl who doesn’t know what she’s doing from working. The owner should be ashamed as he can’t even tell us himself the lie that they’ll only need a couple more minutes; rather, he has to send his young daughter to do that. Like I said before, I’m all for local businesses, but to stay in business, you gotta put out food! To add on to this disbelief, the bathroom has no lights; what kind of business is this! If I could give you any advice, my advice is to steer clear of this restaurant as if you walk in expecting to get your food, you’ve walked in expecting the wrong thing. You should expect to wait for a long time with no...
Read moreMeena's is a place you want to try if you love good Thai food! I saw they moved in, and being that I love Thai food, I had to give them a try. I was welcomed in with a warm greeting. They weren't busy, so I got some good one on one hospitality. Everything on the menu sounded good in my head as I was reading, and the pictures displayed made my decision a little hard. I decided on the Drunken Noodles to try and change things up. I usually go with pad thai and hold the peanuts when I eat Thai food. I also ordered the coconut curry soup and one other that I can't remember right now, along with some spring rolls and a Thai tea. I had a short wait, but while waiting, the young lady brought out my drink and said no charge because they didn't have lids currently for to go drinks. I was appreciative, and my food was out bagged and ready to go minutes later. When I got home, everything looked and smelled amazing! I devoured my plate and the spring rolls and tried the different soups also. Everything tasted great, and I could tell it was all made with love and care. The drunken noodles weren't my favorite, so I have got to get back in there to try the pad thai. Give Meena's a try. You won't be...
Read moreI've been wanting to stop by this place since it was getting ready to open. Both my husband and I are big fans of Thai food. I'm so happy I finally had a chance to stop by and get some food! Ordered 2 main dishes: Chicken Pad Thai noodles and pad see-we.
1st, I have to say the portion size is quite generous (enough for at least 2 huge appetites and up to 4 regular ones). Though I have to give a disclaimer: As I sit here not sharing with anyone, only about 1/4 to 1/3 thru it, struggling to stop me from eating myself to a stomachache; I don't blame you if you don't want to share this deliciousness. The only thing I would say is that it was a tad bit sweeter than I prefer (as I shove another spoonful I'm to my mouth).
The Pad See-ew is my husband's favorite. He was absolutely quiet as he devoured his food and spoke only when prompted to do so. His one gripe was that this particular dish was dryer than he would like and would be better with some sauce (I'll be sure to request it that way for the next time). It had great taste, and all the right flavors were there. It's definitely a place we will be supporting...
