This used to be my go to place for tacos. I would over look a lot of down sides because the price was right. Well, they recently upped the prices and I think it's time to move on. I know of at least 4 times I have drove to their location (which btw is a pretty ghetto looking area, their door was busted out one day) during their normal operating hours to find the place closed. So, it's best to call first to make sure they didn't decide to take the day off and you end up wasting your time and gas. Their prized advertised 7 tacos for $2 (which is now $3) is misleading. You have to order a tea separate with it which brings the total to $5.38 if you take them as they come. If you want to make them soft tacos that's going to cost an extra $2.10 and if you decide you'd rather have a soft drink instead of tea, well that's an extra .25 and refills are .75 no matter what you drink. Oh yeah and sour cream is a whopping .50 per taco. More than not they tend to go skimpy on the meat and they put enough lettuce on the tacos to make a decent salad. The tables are usually dirty and the bathrooms are pretty nasty and cramped and there isn't a changing table or anywhere adequate enough to do so. The parking is horrible and you have to bus your own table. The owners and servers are a little strange. Also, do not go during lunch break on weekdays cause they are very crowded with Soldiers coming in for a cheap meal. If you can over look the above it's a decent place to get some cheap tacos.
Update: 17 MAR 19. I stopped back in her because my pregnant wife was craving them and we wanted to see if they had turned over a new leaf. Well, they weren't open the first time I came by during their normal operating hours. I had to come back a different day. So, they have not improved on being open during their advertised hours. I ordered the 7 tacos deal that is still falsely advertised. I made all soft and added sour cream to 4. It came out to over $10 total. The tacos were very bland. I ate 3, my wife ate 2, and my daughter had 1. We threw away one. I don't like wasting food but it wasn't very good. I was hoping to offer an improved update here but unfortunately they are just as bad as they were when we decided to stop...
Read moreWhen I pulled up to the establishment, everything was in place. What really drew my eye was a sign out front advertising seven tacos for $3. I came with my children to enjoy a late-night meal and expected to spend only $6 plus tax. When we came inside, we were greeted by the hostess, and she took our order with a smile. While taking our order, she said that the current promotion came with a drink, so I ordered the two drinks that she said came with the combo. Now maybe I misinterpreted what she said, but the way she made it seem was that from what I ordered due to the sign outside advertising seven tacos for $3 that my meals came with a drink. When I got my bill, it was roughly over $20, and I paid it because my children really wanted tacos. Everything else about the meal was fantastic the tacos were excellent, the drinks were delicious we had a perfect time, at the restaurant while enjoying our food. The place was clean and sanitized everything you wanted to see in an excellent neat establishment. The price really did stick in my crawl because I expected to pay no more than $6 plus tax. My advice to any customer that stops into this store based off seeing the advertisement do not to believe you're only paying $3 for seven tacos because they will...
Read moreMy husband loves to come and try the different hot sauces so he usually sits in to eat (at least 3x a week) and just gets to-go for me so I can eat mine at home and doctor it up(I’m not the biggest fan of plane tacos so I add stuff to them) today he wanted to do just that so he asked for mine to go and his in house! He was given both in to go containers and they refused him hot sauce.. Small business mentality isn't always good and when you have loyal customers and ruin it over something so small… y’all saw the man eat his tacos in the restaurant…. I did call and requested to speak to the owner who rushed my complaint and simple said yes no hot sauce for to go and failed to realize he’d eaten in house and could have corrected the problem.. my very non problematic husband has only complained of service 1 time since I’ve know him and today was that day… I believe this establishment is family own so when he mentioned talking to his “associate” my husband said it was his daughter.. I’ve gone in here once and don’t really like the establishment or food. If you have anxiety this may not be the best place for you to dine. He also noticed that 7 tacos is no longer $3
He also ordered me quesadillas and I...
